October, 1978. Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange are no longer on the run; The Dark Lord set a plan in motion to preserve both their freedom and their reputations, while dealing a devastating blow to the Ministry and the Order of the Phoenix all at once. Bellatrix Lestrange staged a public sighting to draw the Aurors and the Order to Cheshire, where the Death Eaters were waiting to surround them. The casualties and injuries were many and although Bellatrix Lestrange was captured, she will not be in prison for long, as it is all a part of The Dark Lord’s plan. The Dark Lord has many irons in the fire. As he creates the last of his seven desired Horcruxes, he aspires to destroy the one man who still threatens him: Albus Dumbledore. To that end, a member of his Inner Circle has infiltrated the school as Defense Against the Dark Arts instructor... Dumbledore is striving to save Severus Snape from his own dark ambitions, but little does he know it is far too late for that; Snape has already taken the Dark Lord's Mark. Narcissa Black is about to wed Lucius Malfoy, but she struggles with the duality of marrying and supporting a Death Eater while maintaining a friendship with an enlistee of the Auror Corps. Fenrir Greyback covets the hapless Dorcas Meadowes, but he too has goals beyond his own carnal desires. As he builds his werewolf army for Voldemort, he also has his eye on the Auror set on bringing him down; Caradoc Dearborn. Alice Longbottom’s father, responsible for the death of her daughter, has been murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange, but the Ministry only has their eyes set on the Longbottoms and Dumbledore for the culprits. As if the Auror Departments numbers weren’t hazardous enough, the recent attack on the Ministry has left them with numbers so low, only a miracle can keep the department from dying off completely. Tolkien On the night of All Hallow’s Eve, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another vicious war upon the Wizarding World. Everyone knows the story of James and Lily Potter and the story of their son, Harry, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown. It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell has left his post at Hogwarts to travel Romania, where he will soon discover the Dark Lord and become his vessel, but back at Hogwarts, all thoughts of Voldemort ever returning are far from anyone’s minds. The students of Hogwarts are far too worried about their love lives, winning Quidditch matches, and avoiding being the target of the secret gossip column of the school, while their professors have similar interests. Rivalries run deep, love comes and goes, and the foundation for the future is being paved. Everyone stands at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead holds a mystery. Which paths in life will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must choose.

Due to the violence of Hermione’s attack, Ron Weasley is now on the war path for vengeance and it seems that no one will be able to stop him, though, he may get his chance as Fenrir Greyback’s obsession with the young Witch is incorrigible. What neither of them knows is that an even more precious, innocent life is at stake. And the Boy-Who-Lived is dealing with a serious case of P.T.S.D. Vampires demand equal rights, the werewolves are attempting to organize, and a serial killer is on the loose and has just killed his sister, the Deputy Head of the D.M.L.E., along with many others. A Muggle War rages in the Middle East, affecting the Wizarding World alike and the new leader of the Death Eaters is downright sexier than Voldemort could ever dream of being. Lives move on, lives are ending, and a multitude of wars are being fought. And if you’re brave enough, you can join the fight.

Sean Cassidy was an Interpol agent for many years, who believed his wife and infant daughter had been killed in an IRA bombing in 1988. Ten years later, he was stunned to find Theresa had survived, raised by his cousin, rival and unashamed criminal, "Black" Tom Cassidy. Unable to cope with a daughter raised to hate him, their mutual sonic powers threatening to destroy the ancient family home of Cassidy Keep when they fought, Sean sent her to Xavier's. Five years later he took early retirement from Interpol and took a teaching position at the school, determined to try and reconcile with his daughter. Some inroads were made, but Sean was frequently called back to Ireland by the demands of former cases and his position of Lord of the Keep. When Interpol came calling again, offering Sean a consultant position, he took it - his parting gift to his daughter and her new husband, Bobby Drake, was the custodianship of Cassidy Keep, and a promise to return whenever she needed him.

There is an apartment building in New York called 'Bellum Letale.' Most people ignore its auspicious name, though they would be advised to pay more attention to its meaning.

It is a strange building. It seems to be somehow bigger inside than out, with narrow passageways, intimidating doorways, and lovely corners that disappear and reappear at random. And its occupants are just as strange--from all over the world, from all walks of life, all of their lives have nudged them toward this building as if they were always meant to live there.

This is, of course, because they were. Every man, woman and child in the building is a reincarnated fable, the stories told to human children for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years. Once very real, the fables began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. They have all been reborn in human forms, though their essence remains, waiting to be awakened at the right time, in the right place.

Now is the time--Bellum Letale is the place. As their lives connect and weave together, as they follow their petty desires and chase love, they are, all of them, on the brink of disaster. Not just for them, but for the world at large. This world of science is in need of fables once more, even if the fables themselves do not yet know how much.

2003 is fast approaching. All of our favourite characters are past school and living in various stages of their lives. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley are full-blown Aurors on a severely understaffed Squad. Ginny Weasley has quit her job in favour of working for George. Pansy Parkinson is looking for a positive move forward in her life, working in law at the Ministry with Angelina Johnson. Lavender Brown has had a capital-V Vision, only she doesn't realise it. Charlie Weasley has only recently learned that Susan Bones's 10-month-old baby is actually his 10-month-old baby.

Sounds like life is coming along nicely, right? Well, there's just one catch:

Half of these people are very ill, or they will be very ill if they aren't very careful. The Muggles call it a superflu, but it's much more than that. St. Mungo's hasn't yet been able to figure out where this disease even came from, much less how to stop it. And the worst part? People with this disease are dying. First Gawain Robards and four other Aurors. Then Neville Longbottom. Who will be next?

The game will also have a space element that will pick up with the aftermath of the War of Kings, with plots for the Guardians of the Galaxy, Starjammers, as well as other groups and individuals. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survive..."-The Prophecy Our story begins as 1980 dies, as the final year of the first war against Voldemort is underway. Lord Voldemort and his followers strike fear into the hearts of all. Giants and werewolves serve the Dark Lord, doing his bidding. The Death Eaters roam free, killing Mudbloods, Muggles, and Blood Traitors as they please. Hundreds have died and disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope is lost. That is until a Prophecy was made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child would bring an end to Voldemort’s reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he can grow into a threat. The problem lay in discovering the child, for two couples who had twice defied the Dark Lord were expecting children, both due in July. In order to seek the answer, Lord Voldemort kidnapped the Unspeakable assigned to the Prophecy, assuming that there he would find the truth, but the Dark Lord did not expect Marlene McKinnon to be brave enough to deceive him. How could a child born to either the Potters or the Longbottoms be the supposed Prophecy child when their parents had only defied him twice? And the probability of them doing it a third time was inconceivable, who would be foolish enough to defy the Dark Lord that many times? She insisted that a wizard as great as he was, was foolish to waste his time on the silly words of a false seer; she believed the prophecy was false. With that lie, the children remained momentarily safe with their parents none the wiser to the fate that potentially awaited their children. Until the night of the Autumn Equinox; Halloween, 1980, when Lily and James Potter will once again defy the Dark Lord Voldemort and make the Prophecy a reality. Now the Dark Lord hunts for the couple and their son, his focus distracted from his original goal of ridding the world of those whom he found to be unworthy; all that matters now was his immortality. This leaves room for the resistance to grow stronger. And just as it seems that there is no hope for the Potters to come out of this alive, Alice and Frank Longbottom thrice defy Voldemort, sending them into hiding as well. The fate of the Wizarding World lies in the hands of two small infants and a group of vigilantes working for Dumbledore. How can they stand a chance against Voldemort and all of his forces? It’s time to find out.

Exodus is a canon compliant RPG set in the Era of the Marauders, which follows the lives of James and Lily Potter, Frank and Alice Longbottom, the Order of the Phoenix, the Dark Lord Voldemort, and his Death Eaters during the final year of the war. The end of this story is well known, but how they get there is all up to you. Game play begins Halloween, 2009 and ends November 01, 2010. Do you have what it takes to fight this war and survive?
