A Dark Wizard, a Voldemort-wannabe of sorts, decided that for his soldiers, he would create a beyond time for a training grounds, and then bring the best and brightest children of the ages to it and have his followers train them. But something went wrong, and he ended up with a whole town of adults, young and old. And it seems a lot of them don't agree with his idea of controlling muggles and becoming king of the world. Oops. From all different times and places, the witches and wizards of the United Kingdom have been plopped down into a town without much else to do other than try to find the Dark King, and get out of here. With even school-age children running a muck, and the adults trying to restore order, what could happen? The world just got a dose of the supernatural, and one that it's still reeling from. It's starting to have to deal with the fact that on Halloween, the veil between the spirit world and the living was pulled back--and that veil never got dropped back into place. World wide, opinions are being flung around, rights activits are popping up, and a shadow organization is starting to get their fingers in as many pies as possible. Which includes 'educational' field trips to haunted locations, to try and educate america's teenagers on the new elements in the world. One such field trip is scheduled for Marquette Senior High School soon. Praelitis is starting a new plot arc soon, and we're looking for teenagers to join in the fun! Now's the time to join up with them, there's still a little time before it launches so people can get established! Despite the increasing danger to their loves, a small group of vigilante Wizards, led by Albus Dumbledore, has begun a rebellion, daring to do what the Ministry will not; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly forming into a force to be reckoned with, a threat to not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink for the students of Hogwarts. Welcome to Tinworth, a small seaside hamlet on the north coast of Cornwall where wizards and witches live alongside non-magical folk in relative harmony. The citizens of Tinworth have fairly ordinary lives, sometimes busy and fraught with gossiping, sometimes comforting in the humdrum of day-to-day routine. They are a tight-knit community of people with special talents, and just the same is true for our group of players. We're looking for quality writers who enjoy role play as a hobby; for people willing to contribute their thoughts, time, and pens to a small community-based game and have the game moderators commit in turn to keeping Tinworth a special place that's a pleasure to play at.
