IT WAS a nice spring day in April when an owl came fluttering through an open window and into the home of Harry and Ginny Potter. The message was of a confusing nature, announcing an alumni celebration for Harry's graduating class. Their presence was requested back at Hogwarts, saying they were to be accompanied by the surviving staff from their year. Intrigued, Ginny quickly sent an owl to Hermione, cementing her suspicions that it wasn't just a rouse to get Harry out in the open. It seems as though there were invitations going out to everyone in their class. After much convincing, Harry finally caved and agreed to attend the celebration with his wife. On the night of the ball, everyone arrived at Hogwarts with high expectations. Getting to reconnect with old friends and Ron Weasley was even enjoying the thought of getting in a good tussle with Draco Malfoy now that he could swing a good punch or two. The Great Hall was decorated for a beautiful occasion, and all the girls who arrived were in awe. They mingled for a while, thinking it odd that none of the staff were there before them. It was only once the former faculty arrived, looking rather lost and confused, themselves that confusion and worry began to arise. However, they weren't left much time to panic. The minute Minerva McGonagall set foot in the room, being the last of the staff to arrive, the doors slammed shut, locking them all inside. With a large whirl, they were drawn from the time, itself. Landing in a grimy street seconds later, many of the former students wretched on the pavement after the violent travel. Looking around, they found themselves face-to-face with an unfamiliar world. What stood before them, looming like a lion about to feast, stood Britain. It was in ruins. There were scarce buildings to be seen and most of the streets seemed to be doused in blood. Scared and suddenly alone, the group trudged on to see what horror awaited them. The Other Side is an alternate universe Harry Potter post DH game. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, they come to the realization that there has never been a Lord Voldemort, here. He is more commonly known in this world as just plain old Tom Riddle, right hand man to she-who-must-not-be-named: Bellatrix Lestrange. The world has been run down since in her hands, and now they are stuck living amongst the miserable people already living under her rule. However, interests peak when they realize that they are accompanied by the Class of '78, including most of their parents. The only problem is, they're just as lost and confused as the rest of them. And, with Bellatrix's henchmen hunting them down and tagging them like animals, what are they supposed to do to get home? Some "Guests", as they name them, choose to try and join her army to save their own tails, whilst others try and plan a means in which to attack. Their theory: they did it once, they can do it again! But will it be successful? With Guests and other civilians dying left and right, they have to make a decision, and quick. |

Tolkien Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another vicious war upon the Wizarding World. Everyone knows the story of James and Lily Potter and the story of their son, Harry, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown. It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their seventh-year at Hogwarts, learning all about love, life, and Quidditch, and the foundation for the future is being paved. Everyone stands at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead holds a mystery. Which paths in life will they chose? Who will they become? International Flight 457 was a private plane set aside specifically for a specified college program. There were 224 passengers and 14 crew members aboard the plane when it took off from London, England. 200 of them were students ranging from 17 years of age to 20 years old, and 20 were chaperons plus 4 university and college officials that were to accompany the students on their trip. All of them originally signed up for what was supposed to be an opportunity of a lifetime. Students arrived from all over the world in order to join this program that was sponsored by two highly accredited schools, Kingston College and Chesterfield University.  |

It follows the lives of the players from the Wimborne Wasps, last years league champions, Puddlmere United, their biggest rivals, and the Chudley Cannons, the worst team in the league, as well as the lives of their families, significant others and others involved with the quidditch world. post-hogwarts trio-era The year is 2000. After seven tumultuous years, everything is calm. Harry Potter has defeated the Dark Lord, and things are finally as they were always meant to be. Hypothetically. Nearly two years after the war, and witches and wizards everywhere are still having trouble putting their lives back together. Missing friends, dead family, strained relationships, and social inadequacies are causing mixed feelings everywhere. What should have been a perfect time is now, to put it best, awkward. Marquette, Michigan - a small town set in a picturesque location on the edge of Lake Superior, surrounded by forests and woodland. A place which could almost be described as sleepy - the ideal for a lot of people. Low crime rate, full of clean living and family values. It attracts the 'right' kind of people. What it also attracts is the supernatural. Angels, demons, lyncanthropes, humans with abilities - people looking to hide from a world that doesn't understand them. A world that doesn't understand them. And so it has been for hundreds of years - the quiet town with the secret that not even its residents knew about. But times are changing, the world turns: and supernatural forces are coming out of hiding now, all over the world. What once was hidden is being discovered and rediscovered. Myths are being exposed as truths. And Marquette isn't so sleepy any more. There's a war brewing - and it's time to choose sides. Praelitis is a mature and well-established game that is looking for new players. Though the game has been running for over two years now, we have just introduced a new plot which introduces a whole new element to the game and that makes now a great time to join in! We're at the start of a war between the supernatural and humankind and we're looking for characters who will be either one side or another. The 19th Century
By order of the crown, 1891 sees the activation of a covert organisation accountable to the monarch. Formed in response to occult aspects of the Whitechapel murders, 'Royal Inquisitors' are tasked with elimination of supernatural threats to the interests of the British Empire. These crusading guardians are vested with the authority to root out occult elements that could corrupt society. Regarded with respect and fear by the few who know of them, they are a highly secretive order, dedicated to upholding civilisation against dark, primordial forces.
Unlike knights of old, they have access to the most radical technological advances of the era. Down the centuries, champions of light and dark have always waged war. Now, demons, vampires, witches, werewolves dhampir, ghosts of the damned and more find themselves on the same side, drawn together against an enemy using steam, iron and electricity.

The prince, young, spoiled, and much indulged sits poised to inherit the throne of Frell as he was born to do, prevented only by the will of the Queen Regent, his mother, still mourning the death of her husband, the much-loved King. She gives one reason after another to detain the coronation of her son, who she fears will ruin the kingdom, but how long can she keep him from what is rightfully his?
The nobility is far from oblivious to the plight of the royal family, of course, and everyone has their own vision of what should come to pass. Families of stature are bringing their daughters to court, hoping to have them chosen to be ladies in waiting to the Queen, hoping one will catch the eye of the prince or someone else of wealth and influence. Lords, sensing the impending change in power, hope to befriend the right people or plot to bring their families the status and fortune of the favorites to the crown.
Even servants play their part and everyone has spies. Who can be trusted in this court of intrigue, when motives are far from pure and ambitions on the rise?
I'm looking to create a royal court, a court full of intrigue and ambition inspired by the Tudor court of King Henry VIII, a court on the brink of change, where no one is sure who will emerge victorious. Interested?
