They say they wish to ease fears as they openly integrate with human society as fact, not fiction, something they have not attempted in centuries. However, acceptance into the United Nations is the least of their problems; after all, there is dissent among the Vampire people themselves. Some fight for equality, while others fight for superiority. The crime rate among vampire society has skyrocketed almost overnight. The number of active hunters has doubled as well. And amidst the trials humanity and vampires face together as they struggle to see each other with unprejudiced eyes, rulers of other supernatural races begin to fear that they too will soon be exposed because of the parts their peoples have played in Vampire history.It is a time of great political and social change. Everyone’s future hinges on this era.darknocturne is an original supernatural, socio-political RPG taking place in the year 2022, six months after vampires have revealed themselves to humankind. Mythology is not borrowed from books, films, or television series; it is a modified blend of different traditional cultural legends and myths. We don't care if you play het, slash, or femme. We accept many kinds of paranormal characters, including but not limited to, shapeshifters, werewolves, clairvoyant humans, dragons, angels, demons, elementals, and fey. City Of Hills is an aim and thread friendly play by (PB)/city based community set in San Francisco, California. Writers of this community are promised creative control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, there should not be an issue at all. We are a game that encourages diversity among characters and accept all types of play bys. This is a pretty basic city-wide game, although we do focus our residential selections around fourteen neighborhoods. This game also accepts characters of all ages. When the bombs dropped in early 2008, it was expected that the virus would be eradicated. After all, nothing could survive the devastation of nuclear power. Nothing could possibly crawl up from the wreckage of a twisted land. That was how the United Nations justified their choice to Quarantine and abandon the United States of America – Canada and Mexico closed their borders, and the bomb was dropped. The virus burned hard under the nuclear autumn that followed, but it did not die. Nothing could stop the creatures that came out of the wasted hole of the Midwest – the Infected lived to hunt. Nothing could stop them. Or so it seemed to the rest of the world. Seemingly abandoned by the rest of the world, the few who had sustained the blast began to band together. They found a common goal: Survive. Live, but not at any cost. To carry on with humanity intact, that was the only possible hope for the future of the Remaining States of America. Brought together under a vivacious leader, people crossed the country at great peril to come to New York, to live in the Salisbury Hotel. Safety was found in numbers, after all. And for a time, they lived in peace. Those who knew to fight, trained others. Those who could gather and hunt, they shared their skills. Gardens grew. The Infection was kept at bay. Hope for a cure began to whisper its way through the Compound. Caravans appeared on their last legs, praying for safe haven. But the seemingly idyllic landscape was bound to erupt again. |

The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him. Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard. Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat. Will your student follow the rules or say Bugger All! to them? |

Regaling is a cursed kingdom. Inside, there are castles towering to the sky, enchanted forests, and a host of magical creatures, but despite all of that, the kingdom is still cursed. Not just the kingdom as a whole; every single inhabitant of Regaling is born with their own curse. Some are meant to be broken, others will remain unbreakable. Regaling is one giant fairy tale. Your character will be the hero of their story, a victim in another, a love interest in the next, and maybe a villain in all the rest. Regaling is an AU multifandom animanga, book/movie, and video game role-play with a heavy importance on character development and humor with hi-jinks!!1! versus a complicated plot. The game is set up in a loose way in the hopes that characters will be able to make the game develop without having very much set in stone. It is designed in the form of a kingdom of fairy tales, with each character assuming a role in their own story and inevitably affecting the other stories around them. The Kingdom of Regaling itself is under a curse that includes curse days, during which the majority of Regaling's inhabitants will suffer from the same basic curse. It could, for example, be a day when everyone switches curses, or maybe forgets about the person they hold the most important to them. However, on the normal days (and I'm using "normal" lightly here~) each character must live with their own curse. As part of Regaling's curse, each person who enters the Kingdom of Regaling, be it by birth or travel, will have a curse placed upon them. The curse is theirs alone and, if they are lucky enough, they will find a way to break it. Unfortunately, being the emo kingdom that it is, Regaling's troubles do not end with curses. No, Regaling also suffers from even more supernatural forces fighting against it. Dragons enjoy snatching up princesses, the mountains are home to god-knows-what but they're awfully loud at night, and no one is quite sure of when the next plague will hit. Fairy tales might have happy endings but no one ever said it was easy getting there ( Please see regaling for actual community ) |

FourNations is an RPG based on the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender" and picks up nearly four hundred years after Avatar Aang (& Group Avatar's) eventual deaths. On the surface the world is still very much at peace with a celebration or festival taking place nearly every month, but under the surface tension is starting to boil. Sandbenders, Lightningbenders, and Bloodbenders are plotting together to rise and take their place in the "natural" order of life, if they belong or not. There are only twenty-four character slots for this game, as of now no new slots will be created.
