I would love (stress LOVE) a husband for this Carla Gugino PB over at libertybell! The PB is up to you, I have a few ideas (Jeremy Piven, Javier Bardem, George Clooney, to name a few) but I'm totally open to whoever you'd like as long as they could have realistically fathered a Jessica Szohr-faced daughter (mackenze). The details of the marriage are still wide open for discussion. The only thing that is set in stone is that they are a wealthy, upper-tier family in Philadelphia. Old world magic with a new world twist. Over 1,000 years ago, schools for witches and wizards were founded in European countries to instruct students in magic. Hundreds of years later, late to the party as usual, American witches and wizards started their own school, after the disaster that was the Salem Witch Trials. Since then, the secret of magic has been very well kept. As times grew modern, American witches and wizards became immersed in Muggle culture. The cultures can be almost inseparable at some junctures, with one notable fact: the Muggles still don't know. But governments change and not everyone is trustworthy. How long before someone lets this secret loose, and what havoc will it wreak?

Night Angels is a private role play based off the Anne Rice series. It takes place on The Night Island, in the current century. The game is played via journal threads (comments) and through AIM.

From dusk till dawn the Island is an adult pleasure complex, a playground that caters to all walks of life, both mortal and immortal. Located off the coast of Southern Florida and offering five dazzling glass stories of theaters, restaurants, shops and casinos, the Island of Angels has become a mecca for tourism and millionaire playboys. Music plays eternally in the halls and on the dance floors and famous musicians are enticed from all over the world to perform in the bars, club and theaters. All of this surrounds what appears be the focal point, a large jungle that plays host to all manner of exotic birds and plant life.

On the Island you can buy anything from leather to lace, rare diamonds and records, food from every country and a plethora of anything from chintz to chotskies. A mixture of old and new combined with luxuriant scents and extravagant dining.

The residents of the Island consist of recluse and private Millionaires to the average income workers and owners of the shops. All of which find pleasing accommodations in The Island of Angel’s Palazzo. Peace and tranquility can be found in your own private suite or apartment, located adjacent to the bustling night life of the miniature city but beware what lurks in the shadows at night…

PLOT:
Our game is set in the Nolanverse storyline. It takes place during the events of The Dark Knight, yet elements of Batman Begins are still present: R'as Al Ghul is alive, the League of Shadows lives on, and Jonathan Crane has yet to be caught by the Batman. Sal Maroni has taken control of the Falcone Crime family after the former leader's mental breakdown in Arkham Asylum.

The Batman, having taken the law into his own hands, has gradually been lowering the amount of crime in the city and at the same time has inspired the people and the justice department to take action against the mob. The head of the Gotham City Police Department, Commissioner Gordon, has been going after the mob's life savings using marked bills in the mob banks, yet the crime families continue to be evasive. The police department is still corrupted, and a new crime syndicate lead by the chaotic Joker has stepped into the game, hired by the mob to take out the Batman. In the peak of this madness, the beloved district attourney, Harvey Dent, has been missing in action. Some believe him to be dead or captured, while others suspect that he has taken up vigilantism.

Some believe that restoring Gotham City to a prestine and safe place is impossible, and for good reason. Despite the change that has been taking place, the city is still rotting away at it's core. The slums and sewers have become a nest of the city's worst thugs, and the mob's influence over the businesses and businessmen of Northside Gotham City has corruptted more successful and powerful individuals.

New faces have made themselves known and have brought chaos and fear into the city along with them. Those dangerous men and women who do not ally with the mob are sometimes driven to conspire against them and work in violent, bloody operations to tear them down. Yet blood on the streets, even the blood of ruthless villains, is one thing the Batman cannot let lie. Even if the vigilantes strive to rid Gotham of it's worst villains, Batman knows he must rid the streets of their violence as well if there will ever be peace again in this city.

This action has made him unpopular among the most dangerous of men. And as such has put the people he knows and loves at risk. Things are worse than ever in Gotham City. It has become a more dangerous place then one could imagine.

The night is darkest before the dawn. And Gotham stands now in it's darkest hour...

We all know the story of New Moon, but what if things didn't end the way that they did? The year is 2006, and emotions are running high. Edward left Bella in a state of heartbreak and confusion, which only pushed her closer to Jacob Black. Even after learning about Jacob's little secret, Bella found that she couldn't keep herself away from him. He had become her best friend and the source of light in her life, and eventually feelings began to develop between the two of them. Meanwhile, Edward stayed away from Bella as he had promised her, and therefore couldn't see how broken she had been during his absence. It was only after Bella's cliff-diving mistake that her life began to turn upside down again. Rosalie told Edward that Bella had died, which forced him to make an irrational decision to go to Italy and face the Volturi. Alice came to check on Charlie, and instead found Bella alive and well when Jake had taken her to her house. But what if Bella had never gone to Italy? What if Edward returned to Forks the day after Alice came to check up on Chief Swan because he just had to see the truth for himself? You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you and edge and makes you feel uncomfortable. It doesn't stop. Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you. The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands. They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you were and are possibly becoming will need to choose.

Regarded with respect and fear by the few who know of them, the Royal Inquisition is a highly secretive order, dedicated to upholding civilisation against dark, primordial forces, by any means necessary. Unlike knights of old, they have access to the most radical technological advances of the era: In an age of exploring the unknown, with revolutionary science clashing against religion, Royal Inquisitors not only hold the front line against supernatural dangers, but see themselves as agents of purification, bringing light to shadow and eliminating the preternatural.

In this quest, concessions must be made. The Royal Inquisitors make deals with those touched by the otherworldly... People with such abilities as speaking with the dead. The Spiritualist movement is taking hold in society and, to the Royal Inquisitors, these men and women are useful tools in their battle against the darkness and are paid for their advising services. One must have bloodhounds when on a hunt.

Down the centuries, champions of light and dark have always waged war. These diverse groups might find themselves working together to avoid the Royal Inquisition's wrath.
