| On January 1st, 1980, Voldemort disappeared. Not even his most devoted followers know where he went, but in the absence of their leader, the Death Eater movement gradually fell apart, and the wizarding world found itself in an uneasy truce. The horror of the war has not been forgotten, but few still believe that the Dark Lord will return. Now it's the spring of 1998. I just watched this movie on lifetime and I really want a private played by storyline of a step-father/step-daughter pairing. preferably a large age difference in between the two. i don't mind playing the step-father either. basically the step daughter is into seducing him as her mother/his wife is to busy doing other things.....

 At the Durmstrang Institute, it's all about hierarchy, strength, and survival of the fittest. Social standing can dictate who you are until you graduate. Fact: 1 in 1,000 people has a natural immunity to the Fury Virus. That means in the world 6,706,999 people are immune. 30,382 in the US. 4,301 in Colorado. 2,506 in Denver... The Fury Virus was released early in 2012, by religious fanatics looking to speed up the apocalypse. Their idea was to purge the Earth of sinners, people unworthy to stand upon it. Those that were left would obviously be the righteous, those who had earned a place in heaven. Their plans turned against them. The virus ran rampant, uncontrollable. No continent, no country, no city was spared. The infection spread everywhere, killing without mercy. In the end, only a small percentage of people were left alive. They were immune, but they were not the righteous. They were simply the ones who were lucky enough to the biology to fight off the infection. Then there were the others, a small percent of the population, that were immune to the killing effects of the virus, but were still changed. Changed into beings made up purely of madness and rage. They killed without thought or hesitation. Those that survived the virus without succumbing to madness were now forced to fight for the lives they were trying to rebuild. The creatures, those that were changed, were called Eaters, due to their appetite for living human flesh. A group of survivors made the drive up Mount Evans, to the University of Denver's Meyer-Womble Observatory. There, they started a new life. For the last eight months, they've worked tirelessly, building walls to keep their new home safe. What they can't make or grow on their own, they raid from the mostly empty city of Denver. The Eaters still come, roving packs of them looking for flesh to sate their hunger. Those that are left must depend on each other to survive. Welcome to Haven. |

In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty. |

| Set In Stone; We are placed at c.486 AD with Arthur as lead commander ready to face a large battle at the mouth of the river called Glien. He has much time to prepare but he is yet a new leader and has much to learn and more allies to gain. Arthur is now gathering and training troops in west Northumberland. Arthur has not yet met Guinevere, Lancelot or any of his other men in arms. This is up to you--drawing from the original legends we will form our own. Use the legends as a guide for the main plot as well as the starting point for your characters personalities and desires. If there was one thing we could learn from the legends is that one string plot is not set in stone. We will surround the legendary twelve battles Arthur had fought deeming him invincible. And get to work the remaining members of Angel Investigations did. Four heroes against a city run rampant with monsters of all shapes and sizes. When it was all said and done, the dragon was slayed. The others followed suit or fled for their lives. Gunn perished but Angel, Spike, and Illyria survived. The Senior Partners fell silent and the battle for control of Los Angeles was declared over at long last. The city has begun to rebuild and people have returned to their daily lives since then. Yet, already plans are in motion to destroy the peace that has befallen the City of Angels. The Senior Partners are back, with a vengeance, and a plan they are certain will succeed. | The Premise |
| It's the year 2005. Seven years have passed since Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts and gave hope to the wizarding world. Seven years meant to rebuilt their world, to move toward integration, to repair the divisions drawn, but the Ministry has done a volte-face. Well meaning policies meant to increase the population and protect everyone have been misused. Retributions policies aimed at justice were turned into laws to oppress the purebloods that had created so much hurt in past decades. The Ministry run by muggleborn and half-bloods seems more interested in revenge than justice. At first, they pass a series of laws masked as compensation for generations of mistreatments and prejudices, but soon those very laws are used to discriminate and punish the purebloods. It starts with taking away their houses and assets, and soon all purebloods are living in Hogsmeade, in run down houses, with limited Apparition and Floo access. The Special Squad guards the town in the name of safety, but uses its power to intimidate. The heroes of the war fair a little better, but even they lose their jobs and watch Muggleborns and half-bloods take their places despite of merit. If this weren't enough, the Ministry is intent in integrating with the Muggle world. Computers and televisions are the new rage. Internet and mobiles take the place of the Floo and owls. Tired of all of this purebloods begin to rise. Strange alliances are formed, and the fight starts. In the midst of all these changes, one man cast a series of spells that will change things forever. Using the many ancient druidic gateways like Stonehenge existing in Britain, Rodolphus ties to bring back their Dark Lord. He hasn't succeeded, but some people have begun to reappear. A few, at first, but with time the spell has taken a life of its own and now no one but faith controls it, bringing back friends and enemies, men and beasts. In this world of chaos, ordinary witches and wizards must take their stand. Will they protect their own? Will they fight for equality? Will they survive it all? |
| The Game |
| Volte-face is a role-playing game based on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. The setting takes place seven years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends and the game is canon compliant to all seven books (minus the epilogue). This is a dark game. Players will be expected to write and deal with dark subject like social mistreatment, sexual abuse, torture and death. We are looking for creative and active players who want to build a story not only for their characters but for the game as a whole as well. All levels of experience are welcome. |

It is 52 BC, and the Roman Republic is maintained by two men: Gaius Julius Caesar and Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus and the class differences between the plebians and the patricians are growing every day. There has also been tension growing between the two leaders of the Republic as Caesar becomes increasingly more popular because of his part in the Gallic Wars. The Roman Senate as well as several other notable families of patriarchs worry that Caesar will soon overstep his bounds and try to take over the Republic, not just as leader, but as dictator. This is a progressive game, following loosely on the historical events of the Roman Republic becoming the Roman Empire. The game is also loosely based on the show Rome, with some of the characters from that show being available for play. Many original characters will also be needed as well. |
