This an 18+ multi-fandom game based on the 4400. Throughout the years, a number of people have disappeared without a trace. No bodies, no notes. It confused and baffled their loved ones. Parents were taken from their children. Children were taken from their parents. Lovers were separated. On January 17th, 2058. Everything changed. A large ball of light was discovered rushing towards Earth. It appeared that Seattle would be destroyed when it hit, but then the unthinkable happened: It slowed down. People gathered in droves around the field it was thought to inevitably hit. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Everyone sat in awe as the light flew down and hovered above the field. The ball expanded with such force that nothing else could be seen and many of the onlookers were knocked backwards. When the light dissipated, the field was completely empty; except for thousands of people. These people had disappeared over the course of decades. Not one of them had aged a day. Not one of them remembered anything about where they were or how long they’d been gone. It was like they had traveled there straight from their last memory. Soon, many of them realized that they had new abilities. They had been changed somehow. Some could teleport. Some could heal. Some could control the weather. They’d evolved somehow and nobody had any clue why or how. Why had they been taken? Why had some been given abilities and not others? How had they not aged? Why were they all dropped in Seattle on the same day, some long after their families had died. Most importantly, How are they all going to deal with it?

It's the year 2009 and all has been quiet in the halls of Hogwart's. With most of the Death Eater population diminished and no one to lead them things were peaceful once again for more than a decade. Magical creatures and people alike joined together and celebrated. Mudbloods were hardly ever descriminated against and seen as equals by ex-death eaters who hath given in to the right path.

Harry had become a grown man, raised a family and ran off into starting a new life. The others went about their seperate ways, close cliques keeping in touch. Some of their heirs began attending their first year at Hogwarts. The Order of the Phoenix was no longer needed to protect the halls of the magical school. Old professors retired and a younger generation took over.

This became what the wizards and witches would call "The New Era" high hopes for good things to happen. Change. There was only one issue with that, some people don't like change. They either fear it or are stubborn only to loathe it. Especially one man.

This man keeps to himself, he's hardly seen as prejudice. He wears a mask to cover up whom he really is inside, he's manipulative. Although, he is a rich and nobile man he hides a secret and carrys it well. He's a powerful wizard, who lost his love durring the great war, her life taken by a mudblood. His need for vengeance consumes him, this ex death eater is about to take slow, action. He's about to recreate the Death Eaters with a new name "The Righteous Hand" and he's about to become their leader.

Who is going to stop him you ask? Since the members of the Order dissapeared into their own lives, or passed away it seems its going to take a hell of a smart student, with a certain chosen path and scar on his shoulder to take care of it. He's the son of the mudblood who took the life of the ex-Death Eaters life. As things progress into crazy in the school and in town action must be taken. With no help he is forced to make his own group called the Divine Power. He gathers a few professors onto his side and many students as time goes by. Perhaps Harry will catch wind, and the trio will return help him?

What will you imagine? Hallowed Ground is a game for writers, for creative spirits, for people who can see the stories yet untold. We work within the canon of Deathly Hallows, expanding the scope of the war far past the canvas walls of the Trio's tent and into Hogwarts, Shell Cottage, Malfoy Manor, Diagon Alley and beyond. We accept applications for any character mentioned in canon who is known to be alive, and encourage insightful takes on both characters we already know and particularly ones we've barely met. Everyone has a story to tell, memories in the making, and they're happening on Hallowed Ground. We are community driven, with lots of player input and assistance. Founding moderators rotate with elected Player moderators, preventing power trips and encouraging player participation while still providing the necessary assistance and guidance to make a game run smoothly. Two levels of activity allow for whatever commitment you're able to make to the game. In short, we are a respectful, laid-back, friendly group of writers having a little fun in our free time, and we would love to have others seeking the same join us. The Fruitful Project Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up. In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded. The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five. It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known. It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing.

In 2048 a solution was found The same lab that developed the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty. The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by administering it to everyone as a vaccine at doctor's appointments. To further insure that the population will continue to grow and to 'usher in a new era of life', a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

Over a year after the final fall of Lord Voldemort, the Wizarding World finds itself turned on end. With Elder of the Wizengamot Tiberius Ogden, of Ogden's Old Firewhiskey, sworn in as the new Minister of Magic, the world has been turned on end. Now that Fenrir Greyback has been killed by Auror Athena McGonagall, Minerva's daughter, and Auror-in-Training Harry Potter, and Mafalda Hopkirk has recently been charged with the murder of Former Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt, but that doesn't mean the Wizarding World is safe.

While the Ministry is trying to keep the magical world from another all-out war, Draco and Hermione have found a way to coexist and have even started dating, Percy is pursuing his newly-discovered talents in divination, and the Lestrange Brothers have been reunited and have taken Pansy Parkinson on a trip with them. The Quidditch League is back up and running again, with Gwenog Jones heading the Holyhead Harpies. Mandy Brocklehurst (and her roommate Josh), Melinda Bobbin, Tracey Davis, and Susan Bones are starting up a rock band. Anthony Goldstein is working hard in Auror training, but frustrated by feeling he's not making a difference yet; determined to make things happen, Anthony takes matters into his own hands. Katie Bell and George Weasley have found love, even if neither of them knows how to be in a relationship. And Harry Potter is, as always, confused by his romantic relationship, even if he is doing stellar in his Auror training. Romances flourish, friendships are tested. The next adventure waits.

Does ANYONE play Gale Harold?

I play Randy Harrison, and am looking for a Gale player for PSL--can be during filming or post-filming, I don't care which.

Please, pay attention to details (if I write they pulled up to a one story building, don't have them get in an elevator, for example) and write fairly well. I'm not a bitch about length, lord knows I don't always write long posts, but it's frustrating when I write 5+ lines to get 1-2 back constantly.

Site | Rules | Join ASWW was founded in the year of 1692, in the Ozark region, due to the occurence of the Salem Witch Trials. The school, hidden between mountainous and heavily wooded regions, is made from solid brick and stone, as is nearly all of the cozy wizarding town of St. Aguara's, only a mile south of the campus. A good fifty miles, in every direction, is warded with spells and enchantments to keep muggles away. Originally, it was a place that magical families of the North American region could stay, to keep safe from the hunters determined to eradicate them, and later it became the school we know of today. ASWW is still a safe haven for all magical families, and the families of muggle-borns, in times of war, the school building coping on its own with each fluctuation in the resident population. As the American Regions were more or less out of reach, Voldemort (his name still brought fear) and his reign never really affected this Hemisphere. Though both he and his Death Eaters have fallen, it is only time until a new problem arises for the wizarding world, possibly far more dangerous than Voldemort had ever been.
