A simple phone call turned the world inside out.

The call came late at night from the United Kingdom, and from all around the world, seven mages stepped up to take the mantle of head of their respective families. While some saw it as a great tragedy, others regarded it as a threat to their magical abilities. However, none of them had seen it coming, not even the Time mages, and as the mages scrambled to find out what had happened, they became aware of one thing: certain aspects of their magic were showing signs of becoming unstable.

Furious questions arose, and predictably, there was a lot of finger-pointing. How could the Life mages let this happen? Had the artifact been destroyed? Were the former heads of family dead? Missing? Lost in previously uncharted territory? Were their powers going to just dwindle and die off? Disturbing evidence pointed to the former heads of family disappearing in order to move the artifact to avoid sabotage by a faceless traitor seen only in cloudy visions, a traitor that was amongst them. In the hodgepodge mix of ethnicities, nationalities, cultures, beliefs and magic, paranoia is the only form of caution one can afford to have.

And so they agreed to a meeting, even though little to none of them expected to resolve matters with just that pitiful meeting. Accommodations and transport were arranged, and the heads of various families would be flown out to Edinburgh, Scotland, with their respective familiars and other promising mages as their retainers.

Some say that the end is just beginning. Truthfully? The beginning of magic may just be ending.

Kingdom RPG is a game based on the every day lives of the residents of Kingdom, Oregon. Its residents are varied and each comes with their own special twist; they're all the reincarnations of a classic Disney Character. What happens after ever after? Do our beloved heroes and villains vanish? Are they doomed to repeat themselves over and over again with each human retelling? Do they continue to progress and grow even when their most avid fans & biographers stopped listening to them decades, even centuries ago? Pentamerone is the last stronghold of human imagination. The hundreds of magical lands and worlds that used to exist in the minds of children are now in a state of decay. As a result, the figures of legend have fled to this newly imagined land. Some are afraid Pentamerone will merely become a graveyard for the last of the fairy tales, others are determined to start a new life in their promised land. It's up to you, and them, to decide how they will survive. Or not.

PREMISE
The Durmstrang Institute was created for the magical instruction of Eastern European wizards. Once upon a time, it accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude, but now, any time that Muggleborns and halfbloods were ever accepted is a distant memory, in favor of rigid social classes and tradition. Students are ingrained with a sense of superiority or inferiority [one that often starts at home], a respect for tradition and appropriate social behavior, and most importantly a strong desire to succeed and to be the best. Students that graduate from Durmstrang are the most talented, the strongest, the brightest, and the best. The only question is...are you strong enough to survive until graduation?

An original, brand new vampire RPG on IJ!


It's only natural that the next best thing that comes along, takes the reins over the top species on the food chain. And silently, for thousands of years, these beings did. By the year 2000, Vampires just happened to be on the top. They outnumbered humans ten to two, and that ratio was quickly diminishing. By early 2005, the drastic decline in humans caught world wide attention. The greed of hungry vampires had depleted their numbers to a mere 300,000, compared to their last years population consensus of six billion. It was time for drastic changes, and humans were quickly not allowed to be enslaved by vampires -- all of which were sent into large factory-like cattle farms, where they were hooked up onto tubes permanently. All of which had to abide to these rules, except for the vampires of pure lineage, whom were the exception of the law. Quickly, the prices for a pint of blood skyrocketted, much like a correlation to modern day's gas prices. Twenty dollars for one pint wasn't even a full meal for the average vampire, and as expected, a revolt insued.

In September of 2006, hordes of hungry tainted vampires had managed to track down the single most largest compound supplyer of blood, and broke into it. Immediately these vampires struck with fatigue and extreme hunger went on a full blown massacre, consuming well over the natural federal rates one can extract from a human at a time, killing nearly 3/4ths of the farm's stock. Within about thirty minutes or so, the government was called in, destroying 650 tainted vampires that afternoon. That day has gone down in history known as Noir Marde, or, Black Tuesday.

As could have been expected, blood supplies were heavily on demand, and at a rate of 40 dollars a pint, many vampires couldn't afford large quantities, and many brawls were the outcome. Deemed the most violent, crime ridden time of America, the government had to take action. As many other countries were doing, they soon followed. Employed, good vampires were given seven pints of blood with their tax return, enough time for Operation EXTRACT to be born. (READ MORE?)

the plot;
For hundreds and hundreds of years, magic has always worked the way people expected it to. Spells did what they were meant to, and things followed the general path that people were used to them following. But now, five years after the demise of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, something is going awry. Spells are not working the way they should be any longer. It has started out small at first, to the point where most people don't even notice, they just assume they've cast the spell wrong and continue on their way. But now the changes are becoming much more obvious, and its quickly becoming clear that magic has gone awry.

A witch who casts a spell to straighten her hair might find that its turned funny colors instead. A wizard who casts lumos to see in the dark might find himself glowing abnormally for hours at a time. A witch who casts alohomora on a locked door might suddenly find that instead of unlocking a door she's unlocked herself and that now she can speak nothing but the truth. The object a witch or wizard is trying to transform can turn into any number of things, either related or not at all related to the intended transformation. Spells don't always go wrong, but more often than not they do. This is an RPG where things aren't as though they've always seemed. This is an RPG where anything can happen.

Our game is different than others and it aims to give your characters to have a chance to come up with wild and crazy plot for your characters, all while interacting however you want with other players.
