Once upon a time, a very displeased girl named Cordelia Chase made a wish. She did so in the presence of an eager vengeance demon by the name of Anyanka. "I wish Buffy Summers had never come to Sunnydale!" she shouted in frustration. But she didn't know what consequences would arise from those nine words. A Sunnydale without The Slayer turned out to be nothing like she was familiar with. Evil was rampant and vampires were everywhere she turned. In this world of darkness, humans were forced to follow curfews, and lock themselves up at home every night for their safety. Only when The White Hats were able to bring Buffy to Sunnydale were they able to truly fight back against the ever growing population of evil. The wish was ultimately reversed, and thus Cordelia was left with no memory of the way the world could have been. But this is about to change for the worst.

Several years have passed since that wish was made, and Cordelia Chase now finds her place in Los Angeles with Angel Investigations. However, she still manages to put herself and those around her in dangerous situations, whether or not she intends to. This time she was taken into a merciless dimension called Pylea, where the humans were slaves and a certain species of demons ruled. In order to save her, Angel and the gang were forced to take on the risky act of inter-dimensional travel and the magic that came with it. Little did they know, however, that their rescue mission would have unintended side effects that would threaten the safety Angel had been working to create in the city of angels.

It turned out that in the midst of their highly advanced magicks and dimensional travel, Angel Investigations had also tampered with a certain alternate dimension that Cordelia had first hand experience in once. One of the spells they used to open the doors to Pylea also tapped into this wish dimension, and since then the line between that dark, dangerous place and the reality Angel Investigations and the Scooby Gang live in has been blurred. Strange, scary things are happening in both Sunnydale and Los Angeles, things far worse than the usual nighttime activity. Big Bads that were defeated by Buffy or Angel are reappearing, stronger than ever, and now with the backing of none other than Wolfram & Hart. How will the two teams work together to defeat the rising threat of such a massive force of evil? Will they be able to stop their world from becoming the one Cordelia saw when she made that wish? That part is up to you.
