Welcome To New York's Upper East Side, Where we live and go to school and play and sleep - sometimes with each other. We all live in huge apartments with our own bedrooms and bathrooms and phone lines. We have unlimited access to money and booze and whatever else we want, and our parents are rarely home, so we have tons of privacy. We're smart, we've inherited classic good looks, we wear fantastic clothes, and we know how to party. Our shit still stinks, but you can't smell it because the bathroom is sprayed hourly by the maid with a refreshing scent made exclusively for us by French perfumers.
It's a luxe life, but someone's got to live it.

Three years have come and passed since group seven was separated by that painful day Sasuke left the Leaf Village. While Naruto left with the Toad Sage Jiraya in order to train for the inevitable battle between the Leaf and Sound village, Konoha with all of its occupants was taking a change of themselves. Sakura became the star pupil of the 5th Hokage herself, bonds between outer villages like the Sand were beginning to strengthen, and many of the chunnin and jounin had to multiply their efforts for anything that might be thrown against them. Not only was Orochimaru's wrath their fear, but also the Akatsuki. After a while, alliances between the Sand and Leaf were becoming more prominent, attacks on both fronts were something the two villages shared along with reconstruction. It isn't a rare sight to see a building crumble due to a secret attack, despite the fact many live in fear, there are still those few Ninjas that feel it is their given right to protect their village. We know them as heroes. This is where you come in. Do you have what it takes to be a hero? Do you know what you are fighting for? Can you sacrifice everything to save your village? It all depends on you, whether you make friends, destroy them, or heck even win over them. Every village has their ninja's, are you sure you can be a hero? | |

 - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - As the crew of Galactica jumped into the orbit of the green and blue planet, a wave of shouting erupted throughout the entire ship. They had finally made it. Friends embraced each other, lovers kissed, and children bounced happily. The truce between the Cylons and Humans remained steady as each gazed upon the beautiful planet known as Earth. They had found their new home, and they were going to share it. The planet would help continue the existence of each race, or so they thought. The few that were given the chance to step foot on the ground soon found the planet not to be up to their expectations. There was nothing left; the planet was in ruin. Something had happened many years before their arrival. How could this desolate place be home of the Thirteenth Tribe? How could it be home to anyone? The group looked over the land, unable to comprehend what could possibly have done this to a planet. There was silence; everyone was too surprised to speak, and too downtrodden to suggest that it was only part of the planet. Before anyone had a chance to return to the Raptor, Dr. Gaius Balter stumbled across a piece of technology that was foreign to him. He stood in front of the DHD and peered over it, recognizing the shapes as constellations. In fact, he recognized quite a few of them, from this galaxy and their home galaxy. As he examined the device, Six appeared next to it, whispering in his ear and telling him to punch in a certain code. He listened to her, and did as he was told. Within moments, the watery-vortex that was the wormhole burst forth through the ring-like portal and the group was taken aback. The group cautiously approached the Stargate, curious as to what type of technological capabilities the 'Thirteenth Tribe' possessed. It was Kara Thrace, triggered by something in her memories, that passed through the Event Horizon first, followed shortly after by Lee and Sam. It wasn't long until the rest of the group made their way through. What awaited them on the other side was something that would surprise them even more: the past. A glitch in the system allowed the group to bypass Atlantis' precautionary measures, and they all arrived on the other side, guns pointed at them and Dr. Elizabeth Weir gazing down at them. And that is where the battle for humanity continued, for the groups all worked together to keep the Wraith and Ori from teaming up and destroying Earth together... The Event Horizon is a Battlestar Galactica/Stargate RP that allows for most characters from the series (New BSG, SG-1 & Atlantis) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place during the last season of SG-1/season 3 of Atlantis and the last season of BSG. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still. Six years after the Battle of Hogwarts in which the Dark Lord Voldemort was defeated by the infamous Harry Potter, the lives of those affected by the war are returning to normalcy. The Ministry has been rebuilt, government restored to it's original status with security in place that most wouldn't have dreamed of more than half a decade ago. Loved ones were lost, but over the years the date of the victory had become a memorial, and those who had fought against the Dark Lord and his followers were recognized as heroes for everything they had done. Some of them returned to work at the Ministry, others got married and started families, and the elite returned to their places in the Quidditch League. Back to the pre-training seasons, practices, matches, semi-finals, finals, parties, and most importantly - the scandals, all has returned to normal in Wizarding Britain. brightest_ages is a non-canon Marauder's Era RPG.It's 1977. Darkness is slowly blooming outside the safe walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Just rumors, for now, of the former Tom Riddle becoming the Dark Lord Voldemort are seeping through the halls like disease, making people sick at the thought. Other's are doubtful. How could one man become more powerful than the Ministry itself? Yet more and more people are slowly disappearing, more people beginning to wear their sleeves a little longer, unwilling to reveal their arm as if a dark mark of some sort was hiding under the cloth... How long will it take for people to realize? How long will it take for someone to fight back?
And how long will it take for Dark Lord Voldemort to obtain complete control?

The year is 2025 and Chicago doesn’t sparkle as it once did. Everything is dirtier, grittier and more worn down than the pictures in the history books like to show. Glitz and glamour have no place here because a war is brewing in the shadows. Bullet holes and dried blood litter the city’s streets and no one thinks twice if a person is gunned down a few feet away. But it wasn't always like that. For years the Irish, Russians and Italians occupied the city on what could be considered "friendly" terms. Patrick O'Meara saw to it that the peace was kept and that each group saw to their own affairs. Each stayed out of the other's way and if someone stepped out of line, meetings between the heads of the families were called and it was settled quietly behind closed doors. Thanks to O'Meara, they were all able to coexist peacefully enough. Well, right up until someone decided to pull the trigger and open Pandora's box. Dante Morelli, son of the Italian crime boss Antonio "Tony" Morelli, was the one who decided to take matters into his own hands. A lifelong grudge held against O'Meara's son fueled his plan for revenge and without consulting any of the elders, took a few of his most trusted soldiers and put an end to Patrick O'Meara's life. It was only a matter of time before chaos ensued and more blood was shed. No one knows exactly who pulled the trigger, but then again, it really doesn't matter. Now, Conor O'Meara has been called back from Ireland to lead in his father's place and enact a little revenge of his own. All bets are off and both the Irish and Italians are gunning for each other while the Russian's, with a little meddling of their own mixed in of course, sit back and wait for the smoke to clear. So who will it be? The Italians who specialize in drug trading and follow a list of commandments? The Russians who are notorious for underground operations and clean transactions? Premise | A-Levels/Clubs | Wanted List
The year was 2007. Lancaster College, a private school for A-Level students in Oxford, began having a problem with their students. Many were failing their exams, deciding they didn't have the time or motivation to focus on their courses and studies. Parties began happening every night, teachers lost control, and the students began cutting, being disrespectful, and violent. The needle that broke the camel's back, however, was the library fire. It's still debated whether it was an act of violence, or if someone just left a cigarette burning, because practically everything in it was destroyed, but something had to be done, but what?
It was the Headmaster who decided that it might be best for everyone if the students began boarding at school. It would give the professors a better idea what the students were like, allowing them to focus and improve on their classroom tactics. If they were able to approach the subjects in a way that the students could grasp, then the students would surely benefit.
So, the school was closed down that December, and the Headmaster called in construction crews to build another building- a four story dorm. After several months, Mullen Hall, Lancaster College's newest addition, was ready for use. A few students weren't exactly happy with the idea of a sixth form boarding school. To them, it severly limited freedom. But to most, it gave a good idea what University would be like. So a handful of teens signed up.
It is now 2008 and the new school year is just beginning. Will the Headmaster's idea prove successful? Will the students finally buckle down and learn or will they continue to fail their A-levels?

Odd and strange things have been happening in the district. Its been receiving new tennents...they just don't know it yet.
All over the world, people have been falling asleep in their homes, only to wake up in a new apartment, on a street they don't recognize.
No one seems to know why, but who would really care? London is a wonderful place, just off of Lake Huron. The rooms have everything they need, and the city is full of fun and interesting things to do.
Bars, casinos, fine dining, ample employment....what will you do with your stay in Mundus District?
