| What do you look for in a Harry Potter game? Originality? Fun players? Good mods? An active community? A plot everyone can talk about? Here at CHEESEFRIES we have all this and more! Both your mods are long-time HP players, and, after looking around desperately to find a good game, just gave up and started their own. We play MWPP era here at CHEESEFRIES, which means YES! You CAN play James Potter! Our general plot overhang is, naturally, the war, but unlike most MWPP era games, it hasn't started yet in ours. We want to give players enough time to really feel out their characters before jumping into the heavy stuff. You can check out our FAQ for more information. On IJ, games come and go as fast as you can change your socks, so for CHEESEFRIES, the mods have implemented a few interesting strategies to keep our game going long-term. For example, the Mauraders are only in their fifth year currently, which means we have the potential to last for a long time. We also have a few surprises in store, both OOC and IC. The Durmstrang Institute was created for the magical instruction of Eastern European wizards. Once upon a time, it accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude, but now, any time that Muggleborns and halfbloods were ever accepted is a distant memory, in favor of rigid social classes and tradition. Students are ingrained with a sense of superiority or inferiority [one that often starts at home], a respect for tradition and appropriate social behavior, and most importantly a strong desire to succeed and to be the best. Students that graduate from Durmstrang are the most talented, the strongest, the brightest, and the best. The only question is...are you strong enough to survive until graduation? The hundreds of magical lands and worlds that used to exist in the minds of children are now in a state of decay. As a result, the figures of legend have fled to this newly imagined land. Some are afraid Pentamerone will merely become a graveyard for the last of the fairy tales, others are determined to start a new life in their promised land. It's up to you, and them, to decide how they will survive. Or not. |

During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora Virus,” calling it PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population, killing almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora Virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine. |
Game Objective. No Such Place is an action-oriented drama catering to various genres. Though the setting is fantasy, this is merely to incorporate more aspects of game play and further possibilities beyond the realm of the real world. Whether you prefer action, drama, romance, or horror — this game allows you to play all and pick your favorite to explore. We actively incorporate various game-wide plots that involve everyone in one way or another. Your objective is to create your own story. However, beware the setting. Everything affects everything, and like a domino effect, No Such Place will affect every character and player with things beyond their control. |
