starwalks - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! Toujours Libérer is a role-play game based within the French Revolution. It is slash-friendly, focused on the intrigue and passions of the time. Play as any European nationality or an American observer, as a poet, politician or aristocrat. Even a serving maid. Will your character escape France and resettle in England or will they help French aristos to escape? Will they betray their ex-employers or will they risk all to keep them safe?
Toujours Libérer will be opening April 19th. When the community opens officially there will be a chance for characters to interact, alliances to be made and duels to be fought at The Ambassador's Ball
The game is open to players 18 and over, and is an original game set in Revolutionary France.

Some foppish poets, some soldiery, disillusioned priests, maids, criminals, and other characters along these lines would also be welcome. We have a full quota of mistresses and prostitutes and so will not be excepting any more of these sorts of character.

 It's the end of the world as we know it. Will you be able to survive? It's the year 2013 and humans with superpowers are common place. The government had installed a registration program to keep track of these metahumans. Only problem was that most didn't take kindly to it. Banded together, metahumans rose up against the governments of the world and started a new world war. In a last ditch effort to win, the United States released a virus. The virus killed metahumans and humans alike. When the dust settled, only a small percentage of the world's population was left. Cities were left in ruin. Now it's up to those left to continue on and try to make a life out of what is left. Who will rise up to try and make a new world? Metas or humans? Humanity Lost is a post apocalypse roleplaying game that doesn't take place months or weeks after it happens but picks up in the direct aftermath. The group majority left standing are metahumans, humans with super human powers. If you like X-Men or other Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Heroes, The 4400, or other such fandoms, this rp might be for you. January, 2006. A virus spread quickly through the small town of Darston, Texas. It affected the body's immune and nervous system, killing in a matter of days. No one knew what it was or how it got there but they needed help and they needed it now. The Government quickly took part and assisted the town in any way they could, and also made sure the disease didn't spread to the nearby towns by placing a quarantine that lasted two years. Military forces took over the town and no one walked in or out without their permission. In those two years, many rumors floaed around the town. Some said that virus was a military weapon that the US Government tested on the town; others said that it was the beginning of the plague of the XXI Century; and other said it was simply the way nature worked. But whatever it was, it killed more than half of the population. Today, it's been two months since the quarantine is over and people are slowly taking up their lives again. Families can go visit their relatives, the children can hope again that this year their parents will take them to Disneyland and the newlyweds can finally have their honeymoon in Hawaii. Everything's back to normal... or is it? A group of people that survived the virus start feeling strange and weird things happen around them. A girl dreams of the future, a basketball player could've sworn he literally flew when he jumped for a slam dunk, things starts to catch on fire for no reason near a girl, people saw a boy being in three places at the same time,... Is it all just their imagination or is something else going on? Could they really have evolved, becoming superhumans? No one's sure, but they need to be careful. Big Brother's still watching. |

Harry Potter didn't think he'd be boarding the Hogwarts Express for his final year, but the events of summer 97 made it all possible. The trio, with the aid of the Order, managed to find and destroy each horcrux. It had been the most difficult three months of their lives, but the Wizarding World was safe once again. Safe does not mean peaceful, however. Some argue over the imprisonment of Death Eaters. Others cannot believe Voldemort is dead. And still others are boastful over the Light's win. The Ministry is rebuilding itself, but at a price since the people of the wizarding world are distrustful toward those in charge. Meanwhile, Hogwarts is not the place all once knew. Minerva McGonagall is headmistress while Severus Snape, his name cleared, has taken over potions and Slytherin Head once again. Snape's old nemesis, Remus Lupin, has returned as DADA professor and Gryffindor Head. Yet, no one can forget the attack on the school. The Malfoys, saved by Narcissa's lie for Harry, have regained their fortune, but are relative outcasts now that most of their partners, friends, and acquaintances are either imprisoned or deceased. The world is learning to operate as one, but old loyalties and beliefs die hard. Who will embrace a life where all blood is good? Who will attempt to fight the changing tide and uphold the values of old? Only time will tell, but no one expects a bump free road either inside or outside of Hogwarts. The Game Life has been good to the Halliwells since the Final Battle was won. In the year 2026, Phoebe is an acclaimed novelist as well as keeping her trademark column at The Bay Mirror. Piper's restaurant has finally come into glory, one of the best in San Fransisco. Leo, though mortal, is teaching at Magic school, a place for the bright generation of magical beings. Paige is teaching a new generation of witches and whitelighters to come into their own. Evil has been scarce at best, but when it ever dared show it's face, good magic and naturally the Charmed Ones have fought it. The children of the infamous Charmed Ones are grown now, each leading a life of their own. Wyatt, Chris, and their cousins are all growing and learning about themselves, discovering love and friends.
