New friendships and relationships are made, and Hogwarts has never been quite like this before. Set in the trio's seventh year, RIDDIKULUS focuses on the school life and social interactions of the Harry Potter characters. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! The Year is 1953. Indiana Jones has been "retired" for almost 17 years, now happily settled into a life with Marian Ravenwood and their two children. He occassionally makes routine runs for Marcus and the museum but has not gone "treasure hunting" since the grail incident.

That, however, is about the change. Arriving home from his latest dig, he finds Marian and the twins were missing. A note scribbled let him know that Marian has been kidnapped and the twins have gone in search of their mother.

The only leads he has are Germany and the Holy Lance. So Germany must be where the kids have gone. Indy is now hot on their trail as they are hot on the trail of the people who took Marian. And when he finds them...

Can the twins find Marian and/or the Spear before the Russians do? Can Indy find the twins before they do something phenomenally stupid? The answer to both those questions is up to you…

The connection with magic has long been since a relatively "new" concept. There was once a time when the world accepted such magic, and the people who wielded it's power, embracing them completely. These unique individuals could raise the dead, create thunderstorms, even predict the future. But, as time went on and new concepts arose, what was once allowed and accepted ways of living life were now pressed to change. The way the old ways were viewed became twisted, turning what had once been a part of life into unspeakable evil in the eyes of the world. Those who wielded magic's power became the victims of various styles of execution and torture, before being sentenced to damnation. In the late 1400's, the fanatical attitude of the church took a turn for the worst.

These acts were enough to shatter the willingness of those few families hiding in the hostile lands. To stay out of harm, they packed their things and left. Their destination: across the Atlantic ocean. With teleporting help from the Conjure family, they managed to settle down and live in peace for the better part of two hundred years. They were well liked by the local natives, bringing them what technological advances that Europe as well as the aid that their magical powers could bring. Among these primitive people, they were viewed as deities.

It wasn't until the landing of the settlers that we have all been so familiarized to in our schools, that the new ways and the old clashed again. The families were forced to blend back into society, resorting back to hiding in plain sight. In 1692, however, the Salem witch hunts began. A Puritan was unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a man, a member of the Necromancer family, standing in the cemetary, well after the imposed curfew. All he could describe was the shape of a 'black man in the forest'. Thus, the trials began, the simple minded zealots believing that the 'black man' had been the devil himself. The negative attitude drove a young female member of the Divination family to wish misfortune on the misguided families of Parris and Williams. Elizabeth and Abigail began having fits, pitching about and wailing about things unseen. The result of this simple act of vengeance brought about the deaths of so many more. It was then that strict rules were placed upon the families. The elders of the magical families however, to prevent more confrontation, were one of the first groups of individuals to move to California in the pre-gold rush years. Back to a place of peace and serenity, it would then be an additional hundred or so years before others came upon them, making running an option no longer. It was time to conform, to blend in with the ever spreading population of 'regular' people. ( Like what you see so far? I know you want to finish reading our premise.)

- It does get boring, living in the same world where you know whats going to happen. Why not try something completely new, and find those boundaries?

- All you have to do is simply pick the family you want, and place a hold on that page.

Toujours Libérer is a role-play game based within the French Revolution. It is slash-friendly, focused on the intrigue and passions of the time. Play as any European nationality or an American observer, as a poet, politician or aristocrat. Even a serving maid. Will your character escape France and resettle in England or will they help French aristos to escape? Will they betray their ex-employers or will they risk all to keep them safe?

Toujours Libérer will be opening April 19th. When the community opens officially there will be a chance for characters to interact, alliances to be made and duels to be fought at The Ambassador's Ball

The game is open to players 18 and over, and is an original game set in Revolutionary France and England.

2 May 1998 - the day that lies in infamy as the day that Voldemort and the Death Eaters won the Battle of Hogwarts. Before Harry Potter could reach the diadem, before the fighting could truly begin, Death Eaters stormed the castle and it was over before it had begun. Finally, with the Boy Who Lived in his hands, Voldemort was free to do as he pleased with the Wizarding World.

Those who were present at the battle, as well as all Muggleborns and those who are loyal to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, were rounded up. Hogsmeade was transformed into a concentration camp, and all of those who had been captured were imprisoned.

Witches and wizards from all walk of life now live together, scattered throughout numbered buildings in the town. They have duties they must perform, chores that need attending, and what little freedom they do have is carefully watched by the Death Eaters who rule the town. If anyone is caught breaking the rules, they are punished - and those who declare loyalty to Voldemort and the Death Eaters are rewarded. Life is no longer a right; it is a privilege.

All the while, the imprisoned Order of the Phoenix will do what it must in order to escape. But with little privacy, alert guards, and no magic at their disposal, all they can do is stay together and do whatever it takes to survive.

But one day, strange things start to happen. One morning you might wake up and find your hair's turned purple - the next, you might find you're only able to sing. Theories start to fly, but only one seems to really make sense: with so many captured witches and wizards who are unable to use wands, it seems inevitable that unintentional magic starts to crop up nearly every day. Sometimes it's funny, but far too often, it is devastating.

With so much fear and magic in one place, it's bound to get interesting.

Introduction:
You have been brought into a modern world from a world where you are the norm. What do you do now...? Can you survive in a society built on reputation and harsh structure? Or are you already used to a life like this?

Premise:
Welcome to "the world"! We're a Deathnote-centered RPG taking place in Tokyo 2004! In a mostly normal city, suddenly some kind of strange floodgates have opened, and people from other dimensions are being dropped into random parts of Japan! It can happen anywhere and anytime! It was frightening at first, especially since these people are equipped with strange abilities that normal people don't have, but Japan has decided to be amiable and allow them to try and live and work as normal citizens (of course, it's probably mostly just a show for the other countries of the world, as some shady stuff is going on behind the scenes). There seems to be no way for them to get home, though a few people have disappeared and returned without their prior memories...

You may pick anyone from anime, manga, or video games. If you pick a person from a series with no supernatural elements (as in none, at all. If you aren't sure, ask), you can just glean them in as if their entire history took place in the game already.

Note: You do not need to know anything about Deathnote to play here. In fact, it is BETTER if you don't. More things will come as a surprise.

It has been said by many that Cheshire Crossing is no ordinary asylum. Obviously it has it's fair share of urban legends and ghost stories, but those are mainly intended for the amusement of the simple minded. No, the true nature of Cheshire Crossing's ipsiety lies with the residents themselves. While wandering these halls, any hapless visitor might have the pleasure of meeting Alice Liddel, or perhaps Peter Pan. Don't let them fool you; Wonderland is just a figment of poor Alice's imagination, and Peter's feet have never hovered over the ground for more than a few seconds. If you pass by the room of the famous Dr. Lecter, you may look but don't touch, lest you lose a finger (or something much worse...). You could try having a conversation with Christopher Robin, But he'll likely just keep counting carpet threads or floor tiles...and who knows who you will meet wandering the halls after dark!

. Despite the long awaited defeat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, the structure of the Wizarding world was still crumbling beneath the pressure. Death Eaters scattered, loyalties questioned, and the grief that ran rampant through the heart of many, prevented the immediate change in Wizarding society. After years of danger the citizens of Wizarding Britain remained cautious and intimidated. Was He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named truly gone? Would he be able to rise again? Was the Wizarding World beyond repair? Could they dare to hope for the peaceful future that was long overdue? With Kingsley Shaklebolt as Minister of Magic and Harry Potter taking a spot among the Aurors, Witches and Wizards everywhere began to emerge from behind locked and warded doors: to slowly return the full lives that had become distant memories of the past. The economy flourished, population increased, and most importantly a peaceful atmosphere was finally established. It has been almost seven years since the passing of Tom Riddle. The Wizarding world has prospered, building upon the ruins of the old, but just as the past has been littered with war and heartache, so shall the future. As the year 2005 dawned on the Wizarding world, a new threat darkened the doorstep of the Wizarding world. It isn't Muggleborns or Half-bloods being targeted. Not this time. This time Purebloods are falling beneath the onslaught of discrimination. Threatening letters and words written in blood have appeared at several Pureblood homes and popular Wizarding establishments, all signed with the same cryptic signature.

The Society for the Destruction of Pureblood Supremacy is an organization of individuals who remember what it was like to be prosecuted for being born with Muggle blood flowing through their veins. These individuals find the new measures taken by the Ministry of Magic to be far more lenient than what they should be. Many died during the last war because their blood was not pure, and it is believed by SDPS that the only successful measure to prevent it from happening again is to remove the threat from the equation: the complete destruction of the Pureblood families. The Ministry of Magic has taken precautions and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement investigation in under full swing. Unfortunately, little is known about this organization. Their attacks are done by Muggle means, which leaves to room to trace a source of Magic. Letters continue to arrive and blood continues to be shed. The only way to stop the cycle is to find the source, but how long will it take to discover? Will it be too late?

Students benefit from the best technology available, the best coaches on earth, and the ability to focus on their craft. At the same time, the students will be prepared mentally, ensuring the athletes are prepared for the pressures of the Olympics.

Welcome to 22incheshigher, an RP set in the fictional Athletic school, Olympia Athletic Academy. The school is for teens who show potential to bring gold in the 2012 Olympics in London, England. Students live a life of athletics and academics, balancing their sport with schooling, living together in the residences. The students specialize in one of twenty-six sports, listed in the community interests. Our game is just starting, and we're looking for strong role players with well developed characters.
