A new RPG group for creatures of fantasy and urban legend - vampires, werewolves, spirits, witches, fae - centred around Cardiff, city of Dr. Who and Torchwood fame. The Rift, a series of fractures in the nature of reality and the universe that makes the city an already interesting place to live in, is starting to act weirder than usual, and as such, all sorts of new people (and non-people) are arriving in the city. This new influx of strange and unusual citizens means those employed to police the supernatural population are rushed off their feet, trying to protect their new charges from the merciless stone angels and revengeful Fae...




It started off with just things like not being allowed near the stone circle at night and the odd Ragtag driving into the city off the non-existent Junction 31 on the M4. The Smiths had an easy enough job fitting in those who wanted to stay, helping those back who didn't and getting rid of and covering up those who weren't going to have it that staying undercover is important.

The problem is, though, that this city is weird and listens to those who live in it and this city's changed a lot over the last few years...

Now there's Ragtags coming in from all over, things that you've only ever heard of in folklore, and the Smiths are rushed off their feet trying to keep an uneasy peace and stopping the normal residents from finding out things are anything but everyday.

It's working though. There's selkies in the Bay and vampires working night shift up at the hospital. There's Fae studying music at the Uni and most of the Smiths are students these days too. It's hectic and the brand new fractures around town sometimes make travelling impossible and the statues try to kill you at night because the city listens to people’s ideas about it but it's working...

Alright so, are there any multi-fandom (pan-fandom, is the correct term isn't it?) communities out there in need of a Sam Witwicky from the Transformers movie fandom? He can be from within the timeline of the movie, afterward, whichever. I'm flexible. Also, if they're needed I could very well bring a Mikaela Banes and Bumblebee along with. If they're not, that's fine as well.

Another generation is at Hogwarts, and their time there has been considerably less dramatic than Harry's. - Mod Journal - RP Comm - OOC Comm - Graphics - - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! We're Currently Looking for: TOSHIKO, people for the Torchwood Teams, Civilians, Aliens, Bad Guys, other Canon characters and more!

TNG Hogwarts is a very active epilogue-compliant future-warts game, looking for new members! We've been open since January 7th, and have over 40 characters and about 20 players, but we're always looking for more! Professors and staff are now available for play, including Rolf Scamander, Terry Boot, Orla Quirke, and other canon characters. The War of the Five Kings and its subsequent aftermath saw to Prince Tommen Baratheon, in all his youthful pliability, being crowned the rightful King. Meanwhile, Daenerys 'Stormborn' Targaryen from across the Narrow Sea dissolved the unrest in Slaver's Bay and prepared to make true her long awaited ambitions to sail into Westeros. It was not long before the news spilled into Westeros, whether by crows or by spies and messengers. The mysteries surrounding the identity of Robb's heir notwithstanding, fealties were sworn and allegiances shifted as the West scurried to side with either the House Baratheon or the House Targaryen in anticipation of the Great War That Never Happened. Indeed, the Stags and the Dragons had been a blade's length away from the first blood spilt when the Wall gave. In spite of the fierce efforts by the Night's Watch, under the joint command of Lord Commander Jon Snow and Lord Stannis Baratheon, to keep the Others--and wights--at bay, it was simply not enough.
