Panfandom RPG
Basically, if you didn't know, the show Torchwood, along with other things, revolves around a "time rift" where things and people can fall through. So one day a person does or more importantly, a female does. Before this happens, however, a convention is held and all types of people are sent invitations, special ones, without one, you can't get it, security is so tight.


As they all came together at the conference to speak about what could be done about evolution and making sure it didn't go too far and it matured naturally, she fell through the rift. A girl - no a woman - something in between. After a short span of tests it was concluded she was perfect in every way but one. She was a ticking time bomb. Almost literally. Someone or something had created her to be perfect in every way but go off and destroy everything and not on the "Peter destroy New York of Heroes" type of way.


She also had something else about her. She had angelic quality, she had qualities of every person in the room in her, a touch of everyone like she had been engineered them. With no answers from her but her name and that - for "The Doctor" was enough to shatter his world, the group raced with no time and little to go on.


Of course, in the background we also have Sylar who wants her brain and whatever beats within her, power he feels lurks there, has to, to make her so perfect, more perfect than the blood pure Claire. We also have a Dalek looking for revenge against much and willing to do anything to get it. The First Evil from Buffy wants to gets the girl on their side somehow. Donald from Dark Angel wants to recruit her and make her into the prime perfect solider ever.

Die Another Day is set a decade after the events of Deathly Hallows, set in a Ministry and world under supreme Death Eater rule. It is a time of war, a time of fear and a time of hiding. The public has been forced into a position where they must either choose a side or die.

Your task:
♦ Choose the Order and risk your life for the very people who ripped your freedom from you?
♦ Choose the Death Eaters and know final, unbridled power, living in a fight to keep that power or waiting for the day where you finally lose it all?

Die Another Day is a non-traditional RPG. A mixture of the player-to-player interaction style we're used to but adding elements similar to Strategy Games and Alternate Reality Games (commonly referred to as ARGs), Die Another Day's purpose is to return the game to role-playing games.

It began with prosthetics...
Ways to repair humans physiological functions, augmented or replaced, by electronic or electromechanical components. By rewiring nerves, or flexing another muscle, one was able to control a bionic appendage that made it possible to live a normal life. That opened the floodgates to approving Stem Cell research, generic cells that can make copies of themselves, and eventually those geneticists learned ways to not only create organs.. but skin. Brain matter. Emotions.

Many people didn't think it was possible to create an artificial person, and have it perform human tasks as efficiently as someone trained all their life to do the same job. Sentient machines, Bionic Technology, and Human-like "robots" increasingly took on the less extravagant occupations of man. It was a concept that slowly made its way into the minds and lives of the world. Most notably, Japan where it flourished and was refined into a scientific art form. It was believed that one could make a unit think. And they did.

The Premise:
When the land of Sinistra was young, there was but one land, and one ruler to see over it in its entirety. He was known as King Augusten, and his queen was called Violet. Together they ruled for nearly thirty years and the people were happy, nothing was denied of them, and as long as they continued to work together nothing could go wrong. But, King Augusten was only one man, he could not have eyes and ears in every part of his kingdom for it stretched on for hundreds of miles in every direction, and there were traitors amongst his people.

The Game:
This Land is a game comprised of a number of genre's including fantasy, romance, action and possibly some eventual macabre as well. There are over fifteen different races (including mermaids, witches, centaurs, humans, and vampires) to provide a different view and a wide variety of characters. We have incredibly active mods, and a wonderful group of dedicated players who are looking forward to meeting new people and starting a game that is bound to blossom and last for a good amount of time. We accept nearly all types of characters and PB's and are open to plot ideas. Current PB's include Hugh Laurie, Rachel McAdams, Kat Von D, Keira Knightley and more!

Sien Finn is an alternate universe MWPP game set in 1984; a world where Sybill Trelawney never made the prophecy about Voldemort and the Dark Lord is the Minister of Magic, a notoriously biased political figure, controlling almost all of Europe as opposed to leading an underground movement. In addition, vigilante groups from both the Wizarding and Muggle worlds are making life harder for the Order of the Phoenix, led by Alastor Moody since the death of Albus Dumbledore two years ago, as they are forced to fight a war on all fronts.

Located just four miles out of Napa, California, The Sutton Academy has become the place for the rich (and sometimes famous) to send their children. Boys and girls come from all over the country (and in a few cases, the world), to receive a first rate education. At least, that's what the brochures say. The truth is, The Sutton Academy has become more of a 24-7 babysitter for rich kids rather than a school. The price tag is high, but it's a rarity that kids fail out, or get kicked out of Sutton, something their parents know when they sign their checks each year.

As it is known to mankind now when death grips a lifeform they perish and are sent into the earth where they will reincarnate into something beautiful and provide the world with the always looping circles of life and death. But, what if those always interlocking circles were bent and broken apart leaving the Valley of the Light forever separated from the Land of the Dead never to continue on the chain reactions of life, death and reincarnation. However this does leave the question: Where does one go when they die if these linked circles are torn apart? A question that has a solution only known to those who have passed on to see their new land.

Enter the Netherworld.

A sub-world once connected to the state of the living, the Netherworld is an area with many realms all connected to each other by strange portals. Although the Netherworld in itself is mostly a neutral land, there are certain realms that seem to be more of a threat than the others. It is true that to be in this world one must be dead and therefore shouldn't have the need for fear of any things that could be even remotely ominous - but with death comes fear and with fear comes pain. Dead one might be, food you may not need but even in the Netherworld blood and pain are as real as the living.

There are four different realms joined together in the Netherworld, each one with their own creatures native to its grounds - it is up to those in the realms to decided for themselves which creatures are friend and which are foe. Judge not by their looks entirely for such things can be deceiving. Shelter can be found if you look hard enough in areas such as caves, and holes. They can even be built if one is creative enough to try. Food and drink are not necessities in the Netherworld as there is no hunger to be felt. There is only one large difference between the living and the dead carried into the Netherworld - the dead have no hearts. The similarities are as simple as if one is cut they will bleed and feel pain. Cold and warm tempuratures have effects on the dead although it is minor. Injuries sustained in death are carried over into the Netherworld as permanent scars.

There is but one rule to the land that allows you to pass through realms so freely: the dead cannot visit the land of the living under any circumstances. The living may, however, visit the dead. Perhaps - if one is lucky enough to be called by the living for a meeting, that is.

In the beginning, there was darkness. But the darkness wasn't empty. The earth as we know it wasn't ruled by humanity, it was ruled by the beings that had been here first.

They'd like it back now.



The modern world is ruled by humanity – humanity has spread across the globe, an overwhelming presence on every continent and in every corner of the globe. Yet this was not always the case.

For millennia other species’ ruled in dominance, some we know of, others we don’t. There are thousands, if not millions of years that are unaccounted for by people of science, far too much history on this planet to ever be properly documented.

What is known, though, is that the earth moves in cycles – as one dominant type rises, so another falls into abeyance. And this is what happened to the ‘others’ – the angels, the demons, the fae... Their day of dominance is past, long gone. And yet they have clung to existence, refusing to pass into extinction, instead doing what they must to survive.

And survive they have, albeit in a lesser form, finding new homes in the uninhabited, remoter corners of the world. And for millennia, they so existed, until the rise of humanity. For humans spread the way that no other species ever has done. And, as humanity rose and multiplied, it became apparent that this seemingly helpless species was anything but – rather humanity emerged as aggressive, territorial and extremely intolerant of difference – even within its own species. They did not live in harmony with their surroundings, or remain within their own territory. Instead they changed the environment to suit their needs and expanded continuously. Anything which threatened their mastery of the environment was ruthlessly hunted down. Any members of their own species who were different were either likewise hunted down, or made outcasts, if their abilities became apparent to their communities. And so it was that those species who had lived on for millennia since the downfall of their kind, living apart from the rest of the world, found it increasingly difficult to do so.

Some species’ adapted, integrating with humanity to a greater or lesser degree, giving up on a policy of isolation and hiding instead in plain sight. Others continued to hide, moving to increasingly remote areas where they could continue to live in uninterrupted solitude...

Down in Albion is an IJ-based real-person roleplaying game based in London, England, which opened on the 8th of February 2008. Down in Albion chronicles the lives of musicians and other celebrities who live and work in the London area on a day-to-day basis. Although it was developed around the members of The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things, and Babyshambles, all musicians and celebrities are welcomed.

We are accepting characters who aren't exactly who they are in real life (see Jon Walker the Starbucks employee for an example), but we request that any DirtyLiberShambles types be who they really are. That said, we will be harder on apps for characters who aren't really themselves to try to control disguised OCs. If you don't want to play someone who is well known, we encourage you to pick up a girlfriend/boyfriend/friend of the people already in the game (though if you do decide to take the route of picking up someone already involved with someone already in the game, we encourage you to contact that player first just to make sure you're on the same page.) A thousand years ago, long after the Sidhe were driven underground by the Milesians people the Witches Council, a group formed to protect the humans from the Old Ones, the Fey; Their Gods, determined that the fey were too much of a risk and they gathered all the Witches in the Great Britain nation, forming their powers as one to call upon nature to even the score and they trapped the Sidhe, the greatest of the fey, the biggest threat to humans in human form. No longer able to become pure magic, most were stripped of the ability to shapeshift. They were still strong, beautiful and immortal among other things, but the binding made them nothing better than immortal witches. Strong, but not strong enough to take their rightful places that they had owned before.

Angered and unable to do anything about it, constantly wondering if a council spy was about them now they all looked human there was much infighting for some time, eventually they decided to wait. Sit and wait. They never aged, so they moved every few years as not to arouse suspicion. The Sidhe population never spread too far, even if they left Europe they almost always moved to the same area as one another. The Seelie and Unseelie courts were dissolved, making them a stronger unit as need made old grudges foolish to keep.

The Witches Council, though it changed and new people came as the elders died off ever kept it’s eyes open on the ranks of the Sidhe. They knew eventually there would come a time when the Sidhe will have had enough and just plain attack.

What they didn't know was that by forcing old grudges to be forgotten by the Sidhe they merged the two courts making a stronger, whole unit as opposed to two separate, quarreling units. Even bound as they were the Sidhe were growing stronger than ever before.

Now as the year 2008 begins the Sidhe are finally beginning to get back what's theirs in a strong way. The bindings are breaking. The Sidhe are sick of standing idle, for they are warriors after all. They want to come back into their god granted right of being the Old Ones. The powerful ones. They are beginning to stand up to the witches, witches that never knew great power from the fey and never learnt how to use it against them. The question is will the Sidhe tear up Europe along with the Witches? Will they destroy that which they protected for thousands of years?

The Sidhe are currently in Wiltshire, England. Many in Salisbury or Avebury. The Witches Council, are as ever, keeping watch.

I am looking to fill the following storylines at [info]threehourtour

  • Older brother for [info]deanharper (PB: Ben McKenzie). Dean and his brother haven't spoken for a number of years, ever since Dean became romantically and sexually involved with an older man. The boys were raised by their father, a Congressman, and their mother, who was always around but didn't have the power to make decisions where they were concerned. The boys were taught to look down on the uneducated and Dean values classic literature and proper social etiquette above all things. I was thinking his brother would have rebelled against those ideals a little bit, but that he can still understand them and knows why Dean is the way he is. Suggested PB: Matt Damon


  • Second wife for [info]vicmancini (PB: Chris Meloni). Vic has been married twice. His first wife ([info]donnamancini) is already in the game, and she is the mother of his two sons. However, though he walked out on his current wife and their 2-year-old daughter, he is still legally married. It doesn't matter how old she is, really, or even what she does for a living, but their relationship is heading for divorce with no hope of reconciliation, so I'm not looking to play a happy marriage. Suggested PB: Mariska Hargitay (but that's a long-shot, so really anyone is fine)


  • Younger sister for [info]kavirajarama (PB: Kal Penn). Kavi is a lawyer working in a corporate office. He is the middle child of three and the only male. The older sister in the scenario has embraced traditional Indian values. Kavi and his younger sister have rejected them and fully embraced the culture of the United States. Ideally, she would also be an employee of the corporate office, though I'd still be willing to interact with her through journals if she was on the ship. Suggested PB: Mindy Kaling (aka Kelly on The Office)


  • Childhood best friend for [info]malachyriordan (PB: Billy Boyd). Malachy is a former Catholic priest turned cruise ship employee. He grew up in Galway, Ireland, and I'm looking for a buddy who grew up there with him and has known him a long time. This person would have to be respectful of Malachy's conservative Catholic beliefs regarding sex, and I'm not looking for anything slashy. Just brotherly love. Suggested PB: Dominic Monaghan

New York City. Some come make it big, some live their lives without a care, and some are barely scraping by, but all of their lives intermingle in one way or another. Whether it's just passing each other on the street or sitting in a waiting room next to one another or even strolling through Central Park, all of their lives are woven together somehow. It is possible for a Manhattan socialite to encounter grocery store clerk from the Bronx and even for them to find some spark of common interest between them- opposites do attract.
