Of course I have a secret identity. I don't know a single superhero without one. I mean, who wants the pressure of being super all the time?

Welcome to KSU and the town surrounding it, Kansas City. Here you'll find all your dreams met, within reason. Kansas City and KSU are simple places, a simple, relaxing home for your character's life or education. Come, settle in, open up a business or go to school. It's all a great find here. Sure, there are things that go bump in the night, but for the really evil ones, you've got people to take care of them. And for the not so evil ones, there are night classes for your enjoyment. A theater, a pool hall, a club and the usual kind of jobs you'd find in a town. KSU has some of the best courses you can find outside of places like Harvard, Yale and Oxford. The teacher's pay attention to their students and the campus is absolutely beautiful. We hope you enjoy your stay. ((Pan-fandom game that centers around interaction... for when you're burned out on plot games.)) |

The year is 1976 - a time of bellbottoms and platform shoes, disco music and embarrassing slang, burning bras and damning the establishment. It's a time of change and upheaval, where new ways of thinking are embraced by many and scoffed at by an equal amount. People are beginning to question the government, wondering if things should be done slightly differently. New kinds of music and fashion is emerging, making more conventional adults complain about the noise and wonder what will happen to the world with such a corrupt generation in the works. There is laughter, happiness, and the world is just as it always should have been. But underneath the seemingly peaceful world, there is a darker plot being stirred about that is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Every day, more articles come out in the Daily Prophet describing strange attacks, curious deaths, and all out mysterious events that not even the editor can smooth over to not seem interconnected. The people are beginning to wonder, putting the puzzle pieces together. The older witches and wizards are reminded of the dark time of Gridelwald from years ago, praying that history will not go about its usual way of repeating itself. All the while, the not so quiet whisper of a man named Voldemort who prefers to be addressed as the Dark Lord goes through the masses. Mad World is a role-playing game that takes place during the sixth year of the boys that we have come to know and love as the Marauders. We are a book canon compliant game, meaning that now that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" has come out, we do expect all characters to abide by any and all canon that has been established by JK Rowling. We've been going strong since August of 2007, but we're always looking for more characters and players to join in the fun! Wanted Characters: Millicent Bagnold, Amelia Bones, Jack Cornfoot, Richard Crabbe, Barty Crouch Jr, John Dawlish, Anthony Goyle, Joey Jenkins, Kwan Li, Mary Macdonald, Julienne MacFusty, Lynsey MacFusty, Madilynn McKinnon, Marcus Montgomery, Zara Nettles, Theodore Nott, Fabian Prewett, Gideon Prewett, Gawain Robards, Barry Ryan, Rita Skeeter, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Caleb Yaxley |

The Order of the Phoenix has spent years fighting against Voldemort, his Death Eaters and the very idea of Pureblood supremacy. Many people on both sides of this battle have given their lives for what they truly believed in and in the spring of 1998 the Wizarding world thought that they had received the final answer to the struggle between equality and supremacy. Harry Potter, surrounded by those who believed in him, defeated He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named for the final time. The wizarding world rejoiced as Voldemort's dark shadow was removed from their homes and communities and they were able to rebuild the lives that they had once had. Now, as the wizarding world enters the year 2003, they find themselves facing danger from the very people many of them fought so hard to protect. The barrier between the Wizarding and Muggle world is deteriorating. Is there a new group of Death Eaters out there? Is it a remainder of Voldemort's plans? Rumours and speculation run rampid as the Ministry tries to determine the cause. As more and more Muggles stumble across the magical world and it's people, violence and hatred cross barriers, leaving Witches and Wizards every where wondering if maybe Voldemort had been right after all. Now, as a new year dawns, Death Eaters and Order members will have to come together to fight off this new threat. Will old grievances get in the way and tear apart old wounds? How will new policies be hammered out? And most importantly, will the Wizarding world be able to survive as the hunted minority? |

Things are tense at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Rumors of Voldemort's return are being whispered amongst the students, voices hushed and nervous as the latest bit of information makes the rounds. Fear has settled heavily on many shoulders, quickly bringing uncertainty and mistrust to an already divided school. Who belongs to which side? Are there spies amongst the students? What will happen next, who will die next? Can anything be done? The school may be safe from the outside wizarding world, but are the students safe from each other? The generations-long battle between the houses hasn't gotten better, and current tensions have done nothing but elevate the rivalries to a new level. To make matters worse, an anonymous group of four girls have stepped things up, creating a vicious gossip paper that periodically and sporadically details information about their fellow students. Details that only close friends would know. Details that no one is ever happy about having shared with the entire student body. It's called Bavardage. No one knows who publishes it, or how information is gathered for it. The only certain thing about it is that it is another source of trouble and uncertainty. With the teachers seemingly unable to stop new issues from going out and the issues getting progressively nastier and revealing more secrets, the last, thin threads of trust amongst the houses are fraying quickly. Friendships are being challenged and broken, and new, dangerous liaisons are being built. The general consensus is that the girls must be stopped: but how? The purebloods are getting snobbier every year, the halfbloods are losing recognition for their minds and intellect and the muggleborns are treated as welfare cases on scholarship from the British Prime Minister. The whole student body is stuck in a downward spiral, trapped by an endless ring of rumors and lies. Libel and slander are not punishable, but instead encouraged. There's nothing more important than bringing down anyone suspected of being responsible for Bavardage. People are getting hurt, and not just by the paper. With no one able to trust anyone else and constant fights breaking out, the search for the guilty is getting nowhere extremely fast. There's war brewing, and not just outside of Hogwarts. Somewhere within the castle that is supposed to be one of the few safe refuges left in the wizarding world, four girls are playing a dangerous game with their fellow students. Will the school collapse onto itself, or will the youth of the wizarding world be able to band together and overcome the fear, distrust, and rivalries that are threatening to tear Hogwarts apart? BAVARDAGE. Will you end up on the top, or on the bottom? Application|Available/Taken Characters|Played by list|Rules |

ANOMALOUS Game History x Rules x FAQ x App x Held x Cast x Contact/F-Button ITS NOT TO LATE!!! JOIN TODAY! Started in July, Anomalous was a long running game on GJ which, due to the fact the we have dedicated previous members, was petitioned to be brought back from the dead... PREMISE –adjective 1. deviating from or inconsistent with the common order, form, or rule; irregular; abnormal: Advanced forms of life may be anomalous in the universe. 2. not fitting into a common or familiar type, classification, or pattern; unusual. Welcome to a world influenced by power. There are no superhuman heroes, no dastardly villains here. You may be used to hearing stories of people joining secret teams and forming legions, flying around on planes, but this is not a comic book. This is a generation of gifted humans who, in the past year, have lost their once normal lives. Some of these "mutations" were worse than others, but together they all are united in the fact that their lives will never be the same again. People began to notice things wrong with themselves. Wounds would heal faster, massive headaches would ensue, and suddenly they were in a different room. A man prayed to God that the next time he opened his eyes, his glance wouldn't destroy whatever fell within his gaze. When the American government found out about these "super beings", one thing stood in mutual agreement; they were a threat. Like all threats, they must be contained and exposed of. The general public, perpetually afraid of the different and strange, spawned hate crimes that spread like wild fire. This evolutionary jump wasn't just isolated to the United States. All over the world, people began to realize their true potential. Foriegn governments are trying to recruit them to military forces, wanting nothing more than to control them. Scientists search out these special people, their intentions both good and bad. What was once considered normalcy has been corrupted. Questions with no anwers are on the tip of everyone's tongue: How, or why; are they connected? Is there a greater purpose, be it dark or light, that they must face? Arguments of the rights belonging to these once normal beings began the hot debate for political meetings. Should they be required to register, and if they had too strong of an ability should they be "dealt with"? Already, many of these "freaks", as some would call them, were using their powers for personal gain, and there was a concern that it would escalate. They would rob, they would cheat, and they would kill to seek vengence. Then there were those who tried to stay out of the limelight, frightened of their powers and the consequences that came with them. And there were those who found these powers as a way to gain attention, using them to save lives and get their name flashed on the evening news. There has also been more signifigant damage. An earthquake has, for the most part, destroyed Sussex, New York. In response to this disaster, a panel was formed. These individuals are now one of the driving powers behind the future of the Anomalous. Some of the memebers would see these super-powered humans destroyed, or rounded up. While others are secretly fighting to keep their own freedom. Senetor Kelly, the main force behind ostracizing the Anomalous, was wounded at his own birthday celebration. Many other people were hurt...some were killed. The blame for this "attack" was placed on this new brand of humanity. Laws were passed, to help protect the citizens of New York. The first, the Heddison Law, prohibits any use of Anomalous ability against any member of city law enforcement. The second is the Couventry Law, restricing the use of power at any group function or public event. For the last month, there has been peace. With no violent outbursts from either side, New York City is holding a collective breath. Who will make the next move? These are The Anomalous - the changed, the powerful, the revolutionized. WANTED Males, as always. Our Wanda mun really wants a Pietro. Others we would like to see someone take are: Shadowcat, Rogue, Jean Grey, Cannonball, Professor X, Warpath and Husk. Perhaps start a medley of generation Xers, since, Monet, Jubilee and Chamber are taken. We would love to see more characters whose powers haven't manifested yet and SO MANY MORE! Request a hold RIGHT NOW!! RECONVENES TOMORROW, BIATCHEZZZ! |
It’s the beginning of the school year, 1997, when the first leaf falls to the ground. It was almost like everything was back to normal. The year before had become a distant memory as the students of Hogwarts returned to school with nothing to focus themselves on besides the every constant rumors that floated through the hallways, their social lives and, of course, actual schoolwork. Voldemort is gone, though some of his followers are still on the run or keeping to themselves to avoid attention. It’s almost as though it’s become another era, a happier one. Without a war to worry about, the student body keeps itself busy by paying closer attention to the latest gossip or scandal going around the school, passing notes or sharing comments through their journals. New friendships and relationships are made, and Hogwarts has never been quite like this before. Set in the trio's seventh year, RIDDIKULUS focuses on the school life and social interactions of the Harry Potter characters. We have a diverse cast, raging from those who thrive on gossip, to those who prefer to keep to themselves and their schoolwork, to the ones who love creating mayhem for the heck of it... and everything in between. → Following up where snoggers left off, this game is canon up until HBP with details of the end of the war from Deathly Hallows. Everyone deceased from DH are void and up for grabs. |
