This plant is traditionally associated with the afterlife and the underworld. We are living in a world of uncertainty now. Before, the only worries we truly had were whether or not we would pass our examinations or if the marauders were the ones responsible for turning everyone's hair a nice shade of lilac. But times are changing and things are getting darker out in the real world. A growing army is fast approaching; friends and family members are disappearing more often and there are a growing number of events happening that can no longer be explained easily. All done by he who dare calls himself Lord. Asphodel is a game focused almost entirely on the war of the late 1970s that threw the entire wizarding world into chaos. With darkening themes and realistic events, it won't be for those who are faint at heart and can't bear to sit back and watch our most beloved characters thrown into the lion's den. This is a game where you are limited in more that just a lack of information. You do, however, have an advantage. Charms are everywhere, and with each charm comes a special ability of some kind that you can use once it's clipped onto one of the six small rings of your collar. You might be able to phase through a wall, or understand the language of animals. Anything is possible with charms. If you find the charms for that at least.

Of course, charms will also give you a chance to leave, if you can figure out how.

The year is 2026. Phoebe is an acclaimed novelist as well as keeping her trademark column at The Bay Mirror. Piper's restaurant has finally come into glory, one of the best in San Fransisco. Leo, though mortal, is teaching at Magic school, a place for the bright generation of magical beings. Paige is teaching a new generation of witches and whitelighters to come into their own. Evil has been scarce at best, but when it ever dared show it's face, good magic and naturally the Charmed Ones have fought it. The children of the infamous Charmed Ones are grown now, each leading a life of their own. Wyatt, Chris, their sister Melinda, and cousins are all growing and learning about themselves, discovering love and friends. All the while finding a balance between life outside of magic and fulfilling their magical duties. However, life, as the Halliwell sisters learned many years ago, may not always be so simple. Has the Underworld been scarce? Yes. Dead? No. Simply dormant. Waiting. Though chaos has reigned for years below, suddenly the factions of the evil are being brought together. So, we all know the story...

The "Boy Who Lived" defeated the Dark Lord as an infant.. and many other times over the years. But it was not until the Boy’s fifth year at Hogwarts and the terrible turn of events at in the Department of Mysteries did the Ministry of Magic finally acknowledge the return of the largely feared Dark Lord, Tom Marvolo Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort.

After the tragic events of Harry’s fifth year, his sixth year proved not to be much better of an end. Dumbledore lay dead with Sirius and the others now, and Dumbledore was the last line of real help Harry had. The important thing Harry knew was following out Dumbledore's dying mission: to find and destroy those Horcruxes.

Little did Harry know that the secret lie in a child-- another child in his year. This child is the only heir of the man with the initials R.A.B. The man that Harry came to wonder about time and time again. No one knew about this little secret-- this child-- not even R.A.B. himself. He was killed one month before the mystery child had been born.

On the night of July 31st, 1997, a prediction was made by everyone’s favourite Hogwarts Divination Professor, Sybil Trelawney...

Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger were all whisked back immediately, having only left hours before for Godric’s Hollow (the place Harry now called home) to be informed of this, and if they could think of anyone it could be.. but there were too many options. It could have been anyone within a year or two radius of Harry’s own age! Due to the fact that the circumstances had changed drastically, the trio was forced, reluctantly, to return to Hogwarts for their 7th year.

And this is where we begin... The war has started and the search for the only other person who can help Harry to fulfill his Prophecy, has begun.



**This game is not only one of the HP RPG world, but it is also an interactive mystery. We are looking for players who are imaginative and very active. The game is similar to Clue in the sense that muns and characters alike have the chance to decode and discover whom this certain mystery girl is.**

I play a handful of characters at city_secrets
-Ajax Matteo Cannvaro could use several story lines, including friends, siblings and former relationships. He could also use some dance buddies or people that he knows through his line of work (aka exotic dancing)

-Katelyn Amanda Jaeger could use anything and everything. She has a love interest set up, but her ex-husband would be much appreciated, seeing as how she's carrying his child.

-Victoria Cheyenne Manning needs all lines filled except a love interest. Ex's and old flames would appreciate, especially someone who has feelings for her still. She could use some friends and maybe a few people who would be willing to model for her photography assignments.

-Rebel Patrick O'Leary needs it all. He's currently looking for his mother's killer, so perhaps someone that could help him or would be willing to have been the culprit. Also, some people from his past would be awesome, since old habits die hard and someone coming along to try and fix it all with a little line of white powder to tempt him would help cause drama.

-Keegan Haley Saunders needs everything but a best friend. He could use a few people to let him pick their brain as well as romantic interests, etc. His family lives in Ireland, which is where he's from, but perhaps he could befriend a new exchange student or something at Columbia.

"The Rising." That's how it came to be known eventually, the day the dead began to rise from their graves and walk once more.

It began innocently enough. Just a handful of cases located randomly across the country, of the recently deceased coming back to life. At first it was blamed on human error, the doctors must have made a mistake, what other explanation could there be? But it wasn't a mistake and it soon became clear that despite the fact that they were walking around, the recently deceased were still just that... deceased.

Essentially harmless if somewhat disturbing to see, but with no real sentience and no other signs of life to speak of the walking dead (now known as "The Risen") were placed in quarantine and subjected to procedure after procedure from teams of doctors and scientists determined to find an explanation for the phenomena. No explanation was ever found and the number of walking dead slowly increased.

Less than one month after the first reported case, the disease mutated.

A careless lab technician approaching the end of his shift and thinking more about his plans for the evening than of safety was accidentally bitten while taking a saliva sample from one of the risen. Afraid of being quarantined himself he hid his injury from his superiors and went home. He should have known something was wrong when he started feeling dizzy but he told himself he was just overworked and that he just needed to relax. He thought he'd be fine by morning. He was wrong.

By morning he was dead. Walking dead but different from the others. Self aware, though only minimally, he was governed by a hunger that could only be sated by the taste of human flesh. He attacked everyone he saw, his girlfriend, his neighbours, the mail man, the bus driver, taking a bite from each of them before being fought off. He was apprehended of course and eventually subdued but not before managing to inflict bites on several of the arresting officers.

Within 24 hours everyone who had been bitten had also become walking dead, consumed with the same hunger for flesh, and in little more than a week, the whole town had been infected. With no one left to even try and contain the contagion, it spread quickly to the next town and then the next, spreading right across the country and then the globe like a wild fire and in just a few weeks the number of walking dead was equal to the number of living... and rising.

That was a year ago. All that remains of humanity now are the small and remote pockets of survivors that live cut off from the rest of the world in secured compounds, ever watchful of the walking dead that surround them on all sides and hoping desperately that the nightmare will eventually end.

This is the story of one such group of survivors.

The year is 2003. Buffy, with the help of a goddess, two champions and a couple dozen slayers, has just stopped The First Evil's plan to unleash hell on Earth. Nineteen days later, in Los Angeles, Angel, having just taken over Wolfram & Hart, receives a yellow envelope from which Spike, presumed dead after sacrificing himself to aid Buffy and the Scooby Gang, appears out of. Buffy, who received word that Spike might be alive, enters the office to discover Spike not a minute after his return. Angel begins to wonder if Spike is simply a form of The First, his friends and employees are very unsure what is going on, and Scoobies and old foes alike are migrating to Los Angeles from all across the globe. Something evil is brewing, they can all feel it. Does it have anything to do with Spike's return? They are certain to find out. As to who, exactly, is behind it all, only time will tell... It could be The First or maybe even the mysterious Senior Partners that have been nothing but a bother to Angel throughout his years in Los Angeles. Or maybe it's simply a tiny Texan out for revenge. Then again, who's to say all of the above aren't working together in some sinister plot to make their next apocalpyse attempt stick -- for good.
