Welcome to Niihau +
The island of Niihau is one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. Family owned, but uninhabited since the late 1960's. The Anderson family had purchased it in the 40's to open a school for Wayward Girls and Boys. But lack of funds closed the doors in 1968 and the island had been uninhabited ever since. This resorted in the island being taken over by the native Hawaiian wildlife. Three years ago, in 2005, the Andersons finally decided to sell the island that had been in their family for years. They decided to offer it up to friends first, and the Orton’s had been there friends for 20 years or better. Their son, WWE Star, Randy Orton, jumped at the chance to purchase the island. Signing and offering the money right away, because the idea of fixing up the island and re-opening the school sounded like a pretty amazing idea, and he knew that his best friend, John Cena, would be the perfect one to run it with him. The idea of helping troubled youth was one that he was really interested in, especially since his 12 year old daughter had started to show the signs and acting out herself. Randy believed that all troubled teens with the right motivation could be reformed and he believed that he and Cena were the right men for the job. So now in 2008, after 3 years of restoration and construction of a small town. Niihau was ready to be reopened. John and Randy both lobbied to a bunch of corporations, using the fact that they were still stars of the WWE, to help build a small town, so if they needed any of the basic needs, they wouldn't have to fly or take a boat to one of the bigger islands. It wasn't much, just a few choice restaurants, small shopping mall and a grocery store, even a pub for the staff. They didn't want people to feel as isolated as they really were, and everything turned out better then they imagined. Not to mention all of this was done without disturbing the wildlife that much, they had even made a sanctuary just for all the animals that where there. The rules are strict, but it's only to help the teenagers better their life, and its pure genius being on an island far away from any place, and no way to run. John and Randy have faith that whatever the students problem is that comes here, they'll be able to fix it, and they figure they won't have any problems getting staff for the place, who wouldn't want to work and live in paradise?

We've got almost 90 characters and counting in play and active, but we still have a lot of characters open!! We are a multi-fandom RPG, so Bandom, Actors & Actresses, WWE wrestlers, Athletes and Scene Kings & Kings are welcome. We also accept Myspace Scene Kids and Original Characters, though we ask that you don't bring in a character with your own face, because that is creepy. So if there is anyone that you've ever wanted to play, then by all means come here and play them! The sky is pretty much the limit.

We'd like to note that this group is HET, Slash and Femmeslash friendly. We also accept dark lines; we give you the right to be as creative as you want to be with your own lines. We also allow you to bring your lines from other communities that you may have left, or were closed down. To this community, as long as the line you want to continue that both characters are available. We realize the rules are long, but they are mostly how to keep things running smoothly OOC & IC. So we hope that you take a look, like what you see and join. I know that Reform schools or schools in general have been done to death, but we tried to give a different spin on it. We know it's a bit far fetched, but that's what makes it more appealing if you ask us. :] If you have any questions, please contact the mod's.
