"You could really hurt your eyes like that." It was something Remus' mother had told him time and time again whenever he took her reading glasses and put them on when he was younger. He didn't believe her though. He just thought it was great fun because the world looked all wonky--until he got a headache and terribly dizzy which was followed up with a sick stomach and a day spent in the sitting room with a glass of ginger ale and cartoons on. It wasn't a terrible deal, really, but Remus was already sick at least once a month. He didn't like being confined to the couch. Right now was a different story though. Right now he wasn't sick to his stomach with a head ache. On the contrary he was quite content--comfortable, warm, happy. Smiling over at Nymphadora, he let out a chuckle and pushed his glasses up her nose a bit. "You might like that though. Then you might really need a pair of specs." he teased with a crooked grin.
His book lay forgotten on the floor beside the sofa. His intention, originally, had been to read but when Dora had turned up he had all but forgotten about his plan. Plus, this one was much better. Settling back more on the sofa, he left his arm wrapped snugly around her, eyes flicking between the fire and Dora and back again.
