Who: Magnus Chase and OPEN What: Magnus (and his sword) are 'working' When: Friday Where: Library Rating: Low
All in all, having to work for money wasn't so bad. Magnus had never had a real job before. Sure, he'd been tasked with saving the world before, but it didn't actually pay in anything but 'still breathing'. This was the first real time he had income and it was kind of sweet? Of course, he wasn't prone to spending since he'd been homeless for so long so his paychecks were mostly accumulating - Magnus had yet to grow weary of Waffle House food.
Today Magnus was supposed to be putting books back on the shelf and he was... technically. He couldn't help it that some of them were interesting and he'd stop and read a few chapters or something before he put it back. A few he had piled up to check out to finish. Unlike his Greek demigod brethren's, Magnus didn't suffer from dyslexia and that was a good thing, too, because he loved to read.
'SeƱor, look at this book'
Magnus looked up and shouted a very un-library shout. "Jack!" Then he remembered himself and lowered his voice, though still sounded annoyed. "You can't be stabbing books!" He pulled the book away from the tip of his sword - his sword which just so happened to be the sharpest sword ever made because of course - and started to assess the damage.
