The Waffle House wasn't known for their burgers, but Melissa wanted hashbrowns and since it was lunch she thought a burger might look better. She had just gotten her food when the man stepped through the door and he did not look good.
She abandoned her food - at least it was free, right? - and then went into delegation mode. "You two, can you help me with him?"
The man let out a grumble because they, too, had just gotten their food. The woman gave him a stern look and said 'Clay' which seemed to do the trick because while he sighed, he stood up. Melissa turned and moved to the man who was clearly passing out. She cursed when she couldn't stop his head from hitting the ground. Thankfully the two who she randomly voluntold to help were strong and managed to bring him up to the clinic and onto the bed. The woman also said something about werewolves which meant she was looking at the wounds in a whole new light.
She managed to get his arm in a cast while he was passed out and he was now only dressed in a hospital gown. Melissa noticed him starting to wake and she offered him her best friendly smile. "Welcome back. Do me a favour and try to stay still? I'm still cleaning you up and checking you out." For bites though she didn't say that part out loud.
