"Well you've done a lovely job of it. Not many can do that." Susan herself was of the 'take away' variety in regards to most food, let alone baking.
"Mmmm, yes, and people get testy at work as well." Percy could get on edge when dealing with his brothers around the holidays and unfortunately it spilled into his work life. Susan knew he tried to remain as professional as possible but she had sympathy for him. "Excellent idea!" Susan's eyes grew wide and she grinned. "I'm betting he'll wonder why he always has drink. Let's try to do it in secret and see what happens." she threw Lavender a playful wink and laughed quietly.
"Well, you're one up on me. I haven't even begun to shop. I'm in a sorry state I'm afraid." She really didn't have a very long list, however, she was meticulous when it came to gifts. "That must be nice, the both of you in the wedding party? How is Cho?" Susan was genuinely interested to know and knew she wouldn't be there that night, so she kept her voice low.
