“Won-Won?” Calypso’s nose instantly wrinkled up in distaste, a soft laugh left her. It was a bit ridiculous and she couldn’t figure out what would possess someone to call their significant other something so terrible. At least Blaisey wasn’t incredibly terrible like Won-Won. She’d have to remember that one if she ever met any of Ginny’s family. “That’s absolutely miserable. I don’t think I have ever been possessed to give a significant other a pet name like that, unless maybe you count calling them asshole?” Calypso gave an easy shrug, laughing. She wasn’t one for pet names, hell she wasn’t really one for dating really. It could be why women like that confused her and tended to be left off her friend list.
A low groan slipped from Calypso, she knew the pain. “I’ve been without since I got back into town.” She sounded a bit more than miffed. “I can’t seem to walk around here without tripping over one of my brother’s friends and as much fun as it might sound to sleep with one of his friends?” Her nose wrinkled up and she shook her head. “It doesn’t sound interesting to me. I don’t really want to get to know most of them that way.” Sure, she’d had crushes on almost every single one at some point while she was growing up but that was what you did when you were a child. Calypso wasn’t a child anymore and while she might always inquire about what Draco was up to, he wasn’t actually on her radar. He was her brother’s best friend and that automatically put him into the don’t touch category.
“Oh, good! You’ll look gorgeous as a phoenix.” For some reason as soon as Calypso had laid eyes on the phoenix mask she had instantly thought of her friend. Calypso’s own mask was a peacock one that she had to buy a new dress for. She figured she’d be doing that later this week. “I can bring it by in a day or so? I was thinking, if you don’t think you’ve anything to match it then we could always go shopping together? I need to get a dress for my peacock mask.” She hadn’t even thought to ask if she was going to wear a dress, she had just assumed that Ginny would wear a dress. Calypso loved wearing dresses and dressing up for balls, though she had been a bit upset over the MoM ball. She hadn’t wanted to go, mostly because her mother had expected her to go.
