Re: Theo & Calypso
He hated that she felt that she still had to put herself through some discomfort, but he knew immediately what she meant. "We can be seen there before we leave." he agreed, albeit reluctantly. He wasn't sure that it would mean as much if his name came up, unsure if news of his homosexuality had spread - unlikely considering he dated no one, but still possible - and unsure if his name carried as much weight as it used to. Regardless, he supposed his blood was still as Pure as it came; it didn't much matter what vessel it was in. "We can even be overheard talking about engagement rings and wedding dresses if it helps." he added with a shrug.
He had all the time in the world to hear Calypso out, as fiercely protective over her as he would have been had she been his true sister. What he heard worried him; he'd heard enough from Healers at the Janus Thickey ward to know that it was one of the things they looked for in people with depression. Sure Calypso seemed fine a lot of the time, but he knew better than most how easy it was to disguise how you really felt, that animal instinct to avoid being prey by hiding pain.
He wasn't sure he knew enough about it to really go into it though and he didn't want to put labels on her that would then become reality because he suggested it. "Have your tastes changed that much?" he asked, wanting to feel the problem out. "What would you rather be doing instead?
