Re: Luna + Michael
Michael instinctively followed the pointing before he realized where she was pointing. It was hard to look away, but his gaze flew back up to her face, his faint smile a shade bashful. He was somewhat relieved to see he wasn't the only one who looked embarrassed. Luna, who was usually so unflappable, was blushing. He wondered if she was just as nervous as he was to make sure their evening together was enjoyable. It was, oddly enough, something he hadn't considered before - Luna anything but calm. "I suspected you had a hand in making it look so good," Michael replied with a growing smile, taking in the details when she turned to show him the back.
If the first question made his head tilt sideways, the follow-up clarified all questions as to where Luna was going with the topic of Halloween. Michael wasn't sure he had ever smiled so much for so long in one night. Luna just had that affect on him. "I'd say I do," he answered, nodding his head. "Do you have a costume in mind already? Are we going to match?" The thought of them dressing up together, to some sort of theme or obscure reference, made Michael actually laugh aloud.
