Re: Septimus and Quintella
"They don't emphasize theory in school, you know that," she said quietly. She'd supplemented Septimus' education with generous doses of theory though. She was of the firm opinion that it had helped him in his problems spots. She still corresponded with some of her nieces and nephews in school -- it might not be as fond of a relationship as she wished, but it was an open secret with the kids, at least, that if you had academic problem you could quietly contact Aunt Ella and she might be able to help you. But his trying to make her feel better did make her feel a bit better.
"I'd love to see all the places you talked about though. I don't think I'll be sick of it at all." It was just... complicated. That was all. She laughed very softly. "Yes, you wouldn't want to have to roll me around. It's bad enough I'm stuck with some of my baby weight still." Not much, she tried to keep it off, but this dress did remind her just how top heavy she'd been feeling lately.
"You know you don't have to want to sleep with them to enjoy dancing with them," she murmured really quietly, blue eyes sparkling for just a moment. She liked to dance, sometimes. It was fun. But generally it was with men like her husband. She couldn't help but smile at his excuse though. "But I don't want to keep you from meeting some nice people." Even if htey were just friends. She didn't want to hold her baby brother back. "You're the sweetest though."
