Re: Theo & Calypso
A soft laugh slipped from when he pointed out that they merely had to just go inside and she could see what it looked like inside. “I don’t know if I want to deal with all the people.” She admitted in a small voice, it wasn’t something she’d admit to often. She lived for social gatherings, she’d been going to do them since she was small. Her mother would have disowned her if she knew that Calypso really didn’t want to be at the ball. Her mother would also kill her because she was already planning to ask Theo if he’d like to slip out early at some point in their night. She was still trying to find a very polite way to ask that without it seeming like she didn’t want to be there with him. It was the crowd she didn’t want to see. She’d have been perfectly happy spending the night at home with Blaise, Theo, and Kermit. Why hadn’t that been an option?
“We should get in there before Blaise starts looking for us.” She said it jokingly but she was almost certain that if a certain time had passed and Blaise had not at least seen the pair in passing, he’d start looking for them. Calypso didn’t know if it’d be because he was being over protective over both of them or if it was because the last time the two had been alone together, he’d had to come save the day. She’d have to pick his brain later to see which option it would have been.
She took a deep breath before she started the walk to the castle. She knew now would probably be the perfect time to give Theo his gift but she was nervous to. She didn’t know if she should mention it now and bring up the last time they’d been alone. She didn’t know want to be a bother again because she was pretty sure if she kept upsetting Theo, he’d end up not wanting to be around her and she really did enjoy being around him. He was a gentleman in the ways that most men she interacted with weren’t. She knew it wasn’t because he wanted anything from her either, which was a wonder to her. He was just genuinely nice to her and greatly appreciated it.
