"I can only agree. Kingsley has always been the best choice for Minister - ever since the War, really. I know these elections are mandatory, but sometimes I think they're a waste of time," Charlie said with a sigh.
But there was another time to feel melancholy; they were there to celebrate.
The music began to pick up, and Charlie took Susan's champagne flute from her hand and placed it, along with his, on an empty tray nearby.
"I think you owe me a dance," he said, grinning and steered her onto the dance floor with his hand on her back.
