Re: Hermione & Ron
Ron didn't respond to her comment on their products, simply a bemused and slightly confident grin was present. He typically knew that Hermione didn't approve of the fact that the Weasley Wizarding Wheezes tended to have a demographic prone to smuggling contraband into the school. And well... rules plus Hermione... it was an ancient kind of story, really, and there was no point arguing about it here.
"The Holidays are our busiest season - can't really take a trip at the moment," he answered in a very adult sort of tone. Ron wasn't completely useless and frankly he was doing quite well working with George. He chose not to comment on her rambling about translating a book. It didn't sound fun to him in the least - and he wasn't really looking to dive into an argument about how her translating a book that's been translated into the same stories thousands of times before sounded like a big waste of time.
He glanced around the room and spotted the bar through the swarm of people. Pointing in the appropriate direction he offered, "I just got here, so I'm going to get a drink - d'you want anything?" A part of him meant the last part - but mostly he just... wanted to move around. It felt almost like the air around them was quickly turning into unbreathable air and he felt himself feeling almost claustrophobic by the conversation. It was a strange feeling he hadn't expected to feel talking to Hermione again - but he did.
