“Oh, you know the way to a witch’s heart,” Eleanor chuckled. Somehow, Rolf talking about his girlfriend like she was the prey in a nature documentary just seemed… fitting. Apparently, you didn’t grow up as Newt Scamander’s grandson for nothing. “Then again, can you really be sure that you’ll be the one ensnaring and not the other way ‘round?” Pursing her lips to stifle her smile, she quirked an eyebrow at him, as if intrigued.
“It’s not that I mind being at my own devices,” she wagered, “I’d… just… prefer being on those devices somewhere not quite as crowded and with fewer…” she shrugged, “expectations of certain protocols to be followed.” She sipped from her drink before she gestured to it. “I am having a drink though, and dancing? Mmm… I’m better at other things, I think.” Besides, if anybody were to ask her to dance, she had a feeling she’d have scared them off in no time because she didn’t recognize who they were.
