Re: Draco and Luna
It had been starting to get late when Luna had had to excuse herself to get some air. It was getting so warm in the Great Hall and the little stroll she had taken had seemed to help. She hadn’t gone far, just down the steps and back. It was cold enough to help. She had only hoped to be gone for a few minutes, she had to get back to Michael. She was sure that he was probably wondering where she had gone off to. She smiled just thinking about it, the fact that he had asked her had been a bit of a surprise for her. She was looking forward to seeing how their night would end, especially since it had been going so well thus far. Dancing around the Great Hall with him, visiting with friends, and enjoying the good food. It was turning out to be a really good night.
Luna slipped inside the cloakroom just a few minutes after Draco had. She had noticed that someone else was in the room with her, but she hadn’t looked too close at them. She had instead gone to the opposite side of the room where Michael’s cloak was, hanging her own right next to his again. That way she could find it again. When she turned around to leave, she finally turned to see who else was in the cloakroom, curiosity had gotten the best of her. “Draco?” She sounded a bit shocked. Her eyes were big, though she didn’t look scared. It was a shocked face.
Luna hadn’t seen Draco in years. She had forgiven him years before; she didn’t even blame him for what had happened to her at his home. It was still a bit of a shock to see him standing there. She was trying to push back all of the memories from her time in his home. She knew she should have said something, she probably should have just turned to leave, but instead she was still standing there rooted to the spot.
