Re: Susan + Charlie
"I think I could say the same about you." Susan was very pleased by what she saw standing outside of her flat. Charlie cut quite the fine figure and she wondered, briefly, if she really had to attend the ball?
Taking the offered rose with a flattered smile, Susan smelled it and grinned. "It's not lame at all, it's lovely. Thank you." She'd only stepped inside for a moment to put it in some water in a small vase on her entryway table. Turning, she made sure she had her wrap and a small clutch. "Shall we?"
When they'd arrived at Hogwarts, she was very glad to have charmed her dress with sticking charms so it wouldn't ride up. It covered her scar nicely. However, it was rather revealing and she'd no doubt Percy would admonish her about it later...or even sooner. She didn't care though, she looked nice and she knew it, especially when Charlie was with her.
"Oh? In that case, I feel a little chill just now." She grinned and pulled Charlie closer with one arm. "Would you like to get a drink first? And then maybe try to dance our way into a corner somewhere." There was that saucy grin again, to match her thoughts.
