Hannah chuckled softly again, nodding slightly. She would have some water as well, not wanting a flavored drink that would compete with the soup. "I've got kettle corn--" She preferred the sweeter popcorn over the buttery ones and hoped he wouldn't mind. "--and a few different types of candy. And I might have picked up a couple brownies from Sweet Nothings and a carton of ice cream if we really want to be naughty." As soon as the words were out of her mouth, her cheeks tinged a pretty pink, though she hoped he wouldn't notice.
Sitting, she picked up a slice of bread, still steaming warm, and spread a slab of butter over it before dipping it in the soup. When he complimented the soup, she smiled warmly at him. "You're welcome. I'm really glad you like it. Cooking is one of those things that came back to me really easy after... well, while I was recovering. I really enjoy it," she admitted before eating another spoonful of the soup.
