Hannah had been a nervous, scattered wreck for the last few days, her mind going in circles about what she and Theo had done, trying to figure out why she'd done it, what she'd meant by it, and did he mean anything by it or was it just a friendly warm body sort of thing? But she wasn't that sort of girl, never had been as far as she could remember, and she didn't really want to start with that now. But did she really feel those depths of feelings for Theo?
She'd finally broken down and snagged a lunch date with Ginny today, and she'd babbled all of her mixed up emotions about it to her friend... who had promptly laughed at her. Naturally. But talking to Ginny had helped a lot, and when she'd suggested Hannah reach out to Theo, the blonde had given in. And now Theo was on his way over, and she was right back to scattered mess.
She wore a simple over-sized jumper and leggings, her hair slightly frizzing from how many times she'd run her fingers through it. Her flat smelled fantastic, though, with the hearty soup cooking that she'd thought suited the rainy day. And she had a few movies to choose from, just in case he really did actually want to watch one, though she had no clue how things would go. And when the knock finally sounded at the door, she nearly jumped out of her skin, though she groaned and rubbed her hands over her face, cursing herself for being so jumpy. It was ridiculous!
Hannah opened the door, blue eyes bright and smile equally warm and nervous. "Theo," she greeted, reaching out a hand to draw him inside so she could close the door. And then, even though it made her feel silly and ridiculous all the more, she leaned up on her bare toes and brushed her lips against his cheek. "I hope you're hungry. I made soup--and, of course, there's the promised junk food."
