Re: Robert and Dora
Robert found himself chuckling again at the gesture she made, still thinking it was utterly absurd for her brother to have done that without even talking to her. Even when he was at his lowest--well, perhaps not his lowest, but the lowest his family were aware of, after Piper had left him--his family had never been so presumptuous. And they were thick as thieves! It was baffling. "I can't say I blame you for feeling that way at the time." Though she obviously must have moved past those feelings since then if they were still neighbors.
"Isn't that something," he murmured rhetorically, amused at the thought of the theatrical Gryffindor actually managing to pull off something so clever without cluing her in.
Someone bumped into him from behind again, and his lips pressed together in a flat, slightly irritated line. "Would you, perhaps, like to find a table with me a bit more aside from the crowd?" he suggested with a quirked brow, knowing that it was only going to get more crowded where they were now and that he didn't particularly want to end his conversation with her just yet.
