Re: Robert and Dora
Celebrity status meant nothing to someone like Dora, who still held a somewhat notorious status herself, between her past and then the tragedy that had haunted her these last years. She knew what some of the whispers were, about how she'd brought it all on herself and Fate had only been making sure she got what she deserved. She didn't need them to tell her that, though; it wasn't anything she hadn't thought for herself.
So she didn't try to be serious with anyone, and no one had shown interest anyway, so it was easy enough.
She ordered another drink, pondering if she should suggest they find a table tucked against an edge somewhere, because the people were beginning to get to her. "Aye! He built me a bloody house," she said. And then made a gesture that pretty much said, thank you finally someone gets it! "Aye, that's him. And it's completely in keeping with his character. Gods above and below, though, he pissed me right off." But she was grateful, too, that he pushed. Hyperion always knew when to push with her. Sometimes a little too much, but they always worked it out.
"He did, actually. He showed a smidge of Slytherin and asked my opinion on things supposedly for his house."
