Re: Robert and Dora
It was true; he'd never been particularly good at giving fans the brush off. He was much more likely to sit with them for a few minutes' conversation before being on his way, but at clubs, when alcohol was involved, it was always trickier. And he hadn't wanted to spend time with the girl, anyway. He'd wanted to get back to his conversation with Dora.
Robert blew out a breath when Dora slipped off the stool and took charge of the situation, not minding in the least. His PR rep would likely be mortified, but she'd worked with him plenty long enough to know how he was.
Chuckling under his breath with a small shake of his head at the way she patted his arm, his eyes met hers, only just realizing how short she really was. "Not usually, to be honest," he answered. "I imagine it's more to do with the setting, though I'm not sure what sort of wizard she takes me for. She had to be barely out of Hogwarts!" he groaned softly, lifting a hand to rub over his brow, feeling absurdly old in that moment.
