The enthusiasm she displayed was another kick to the gut, and he wondered what she would do if he simply pulled her to him and kissed her. It was wrong; he knew it was wrong. She was a married woman, had made her choice, and yet he knew he would take the opportunity to be with her however she wanted.
As she hugged him, his arms went around her, his nose turned just so against her hair, and he held on a moment longer than perhaps appropriate. "I didn't," he answered honestly. "Did you?" He ignored the coffee for now though, as he hadn't moved away from her yet. There was so much he wanted to say, and as his eyes stared into hers, he was sure they spoke volumes of what was in his mind.
