RP: Storming in Diagon Alley Who: Tracey + OPEN When: 9/12/12; evening Where: The Cauldron Inn; Proof Bar What: Tracey ducks into the bar after work to get some more work done during a rainstorm. Warnings: TBD
Tracey wasn't scared by lightning and thunder, despite her generally soft demeanor. She was feminine, yes, but she found that came with a certain kind of steel underneath. But she didn't like be couped up during them, either, so after dinner at the office with some of the staff, she'd taken her papers to The Cauldron Inn for a glass of wine instead of heading straight home. The thought of Gabriel called to her - his warm greeting, his soft lips kissing her hello after a long day - but she also knew the likelihood that she'd finish this report tonight with him so near... Well, it was slim to none, if she was honest. She just enjoyed being around him far too much to think of anything else when she was.
And so she'd sent him a quick message letting him know she'd be home before too late, that she missed and loved him, and she'd be thinking of him while she slaved away at her latest project. She she took a small table not far from the bar and spread out her work, greeting the bar manager, Zach, with a smile when he brought her over a glass of chardonnay.
The bar was bustling tonight and the pleasant buzz was a nice backdrop for her puzzling out the clues in the manuscript she and Penelope had been sent for a possible 'made for wiz tv' movie, and she while away an hour or so before she looked up again for another glass of wine, nearly half way through her work for the evening.
