Re: Kit/Astoria
Her smile was soft and warm when he agreed to wanting those things with her too. It was enough for right now, she thought, to know that it was what they both wanted, and she was sure that it wouldn't be much longer before they finally steeled themselves to dealing with their families through the whole process. Because she didn't actually think they would elope. Even if she did want to start a family with him more than she'd have thought possible when they'd begun this journey together.
She didn't need to hear him say those things just then, but it was nice all the same. Although she wasn't lacking in hope for their future, the boost was always welcome. But his next words had her mentally pausing, her heart beginning to race as she realized that he was, in fact, serious. Her feet faltered, and she looked up at him with one brow raised. "We both know that was not a proper proposal, Kitsopher," she pointed out with just a hint of teasing. "And besides, you're not so crass as to propose at someone else's wedding." She wasn't saying no, though. She just couldn't help wanting a moment just for them.
