Re: Percy + Susan
"Keep an eye on that admin assistant from the Prophet, Vane. She's... I don't know." There was something odd about her being there at all and he didn't like it. But she had a press pass and so he allowed it.
"Make sure the warming charms on the pastries are strong enough, can't have them whining to us all day about cold danishes. And when you get back double check the lunch arrangements. I don't want any of them having any reason to leave the galley, unless it's to the restroom. And speaking of, make sure there are Ministry people posted at the doors and along the way to the public restroom, instruct them all to check every credential today, the last thing we need is someone getting nosy." With that, he dismissed her by turning and heading into his office. Yes, Percy as abrupt, but she'd come to expect that by now.
Once in his office, he let in the maintenance crew with Susan's things and instructed them where she would be for the day. His office was large enough to easily accommodate both desks and both people. He sat down and tuned the wireless into the election results and stared at it for a moment, his fingers steepled at his chin. Now they waited.
