RP: Boys' happy hour
Who: Mac & Eddie (with a cameo by Lisa)
When: 3/22/10
Where: V-Bar
What: Mac & Eddie get together for some boys' time.
Warnings: TBD (knowing Mac, lewd language)
Mac sidled up to the bar with his usual swagger and attitude, sending kissy faces to Lisa as he did. Lisa was good shit. She was a great girl. She'd always been nice to Mac, even when he'd been a douche in school, and he remembered that sort of thing.
The friend he was meeting for drinks, however? Not nice, especially when Mac was being a douche. Eddie was... a prankster, he'd probably say. If you asked Mac honestly, Eddie was a douche in his own way. If you asked anyone else, the two being friends made NO SENSE whatsoever. Eddie was sarcastic and joking and funny and silly and Mac was self-serious and had a huge ego - and yet, the two had been friends since school and had even stayed close through growing into their adult lives. Eddie still annoyed the shit out of Mac on the regular, but at this point, Mac was pretty good at blowing it all off as just... his friend.
And so, Mac had given Lav and Hunter kisses before coming down from their flat to V-Bar. Lisa brought him over his usual - a pint of stout - and a happy hour menu and even came around from the bar to give him a hug hello and ask how Hunter was doing. Mac bragged for a minute and then Lisa asked him if he'd heard anything about the Leaky Cauldron property, clearly knowing more than she was letting on. Mac would think about that later, he knew. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading to check on a table of wizards in muggle business suits, clearly too important for their own good. He rolled his eyes as she left, making sure to listen in that the bros were treating her well.
And then he waited.
