Vic nodded slowly, smiling, beyond amused. She wasn't a stranger to compliments- or at least hadn't been back when she was performing- but the fact that he'd called her pretty and beautiful and all within a couple of minutes had her feeling silly for even doubting that this might be some kind of date.
"I absolutely loved it here. It was one of those places you could work at and be happy hanging around in afterwards. I only left because my other job-" She paused, motioning roughly to the area her picture was pinned up. "-kind of took off. After that I didn't have the time to pick up many hours. It's probably been a year or more since I did a shift, but I still stop by every now and again."
"What do you think then? First impressions and all?" She asked, genuinely interested in what he thought. The Apothecary wasn't for everybody- it was bright and quirky, but with cosy booths that were somewhat secluded by the array and bits and pieces that hung from the walls and ceilings. Some had called it bohemian before, but Vic knew that everything was far too random to be classified so simply.
