Addi let out a soft, watery laugh at Parry's joking. Phillip's accent had been tamed some when she knew him, but it didn't surprise her. "Of course he would," she agreed with a happy sigh at the thought of it. Her own accent growing up hadn't been thickly French thanks to her mum's English roots, but while she'd lived in Paris, it had definitely thickened. Now that she'd been in the UK for the better part of a year, it was back to not being as prevalent.
She smiled warmly at his question. "Oui, of course I am," she answered. How could she not teach her little Peanut French? It was as much a part of her daughter's heritage as Phillip's Scottish side. "Do you speak any other languages?"
