Well, it wasn't like she expected Parry to have particularly exciting stories about Phillip, but he'd known him better than most, she thought, and she wanted her daughter to know what her papa had been like. "Slimmer than mine, hmm? That's saying something," she quipped, her lips curved in amusement. He'd been surprisingly buff for such a smarty pants, but she could imagine his eleven-year-old self being thin and gangly. "Mm, yes, that Scottish brogue. I imagine it tamed a bit at school, though?"
