Re: Inside the Leaky Cauldron: Persephone + Elijah + open
It didn't bother Eli in the least that she took the lead on this one--not only was that how teamwork was successful, but he knew she was a skilled healer just from the people they'd helped together so far. Once the stones were cleared away, he got to work helping Persephone stabilize this patient.
When they'd done all they could do here, he nodded at her, agreeing with her assessment. "Yeah," he said, pointing his wand above them and casting a red orb, setting it to blink rapidly to signal those helping that he needed to be transported as soon as possible.
They found two more dead after that, and with each one, Eli's heart sank further, fear that there would be fewer and fewer survivor's as they went on. At some point one of the personnel helping came up to them with bottles of water, insisting they hydrate. The last thing he wanted to do was take a break. "You doing okay?" he asked Persephone as he twisted off the cap to his water. They still hadn't found her friend, and he knew she must be worried.
