"Yes, so shoulder towels are a must, or your robes might suffer," Dora said dryly, but she was grinning faintly. "But considering, honestly, it was only that first night they were both sick that was the worst. I've probably hovered far too much, but all I can think about is how tender their lungs might still be." There were a ton of things the healers had warned her about since they'd been born so early.
She hestitated a moment. "I'm... I actually might need ye to look at me for something while I'm here," she admitted reluctantly.
"Aye. I love having us all together, but it's so much harder to find that private time when I'm juggling so much. I'm sorry if I've neglected ye," she said genuinely. "I really had to fit in those extra gigs around the holidays. The money really helped."
She thought for a moment. "Let's live wild and say the couch," she said.
