Re: Calypso & Mandy
"I haven't the faintest idea. Did I know that you knew him?" she asked, though it was a playful question that she really didn't expect an answer to. It didn't matter to her if Mandy knew Blaise or not, Blaise knew a lot of people. It was rare when she ran into someone that didn't know her brother, or at least the family name.
Her smile warmed as Mandy spoke of this Illy. She had a best friend like that, at least once upon a time they were mistaken as a couple. It wasn't something they'd have a problem with now that he was finally with someone that appreciated him. She wondered for a moment if he had come tonight, she'd forgotten to ask. Handling Oya over the holidays had been rather busy and exhausting. She needed to reach out once things settled down, maybe catch up with lunch.
A real date? The idea was enticing, and Calypso wanted to not only eagerly shout an excited yes, but she had that small fear that she needed to say no and not ruin what they had. Worries about ruining this moment, the one she needed to stay present in, had her stealing a kiss from the other woman, while she nodded her head. That was something she thought she might enjoy, they'd revisit the topic another time when she wasn't still recovering from an Oya visit.
"Let's dance," she said, as her hand found the other woman's easily. "I dream about those hips, you know." Calypso flashed Mandy a wicked little smirk, squeezing her hands.
