Re: Calypso & Mandy
Calypso wanted nothing more than to slip away with Mandy, especially after that purr. She owed Blaise though, she owed her brother for all of the things he’d done over the years to keep Oya distracted. She knew that he wouldn’t agree, that he would be grateful she had kept Oya distracted for as long as she had, but she knew that he deserved the chance to enjoy his night without Oya trying to introduce the boys to a new witch that Oya thought was just perfect to carry her future grandchild. It was the only thing that had her hand stilled where it was just under her dress.
Her smile grew as she heard Mandy warning her that she would be dancing with another pretty woman. “Did someone warn you that I’m the jealous sort?” Calypso asked curiously, unable to help herself. She wondered if somehow someone had been able to warn the woman. She nuzzled her nose against Mandy’s jawline for just a moment, playfully nipping at the other woman’s neck just below her ear. “I promise, even if she wasn’t your best friend, I wouldn’t be jealous. I know this is…” she trailed off a moment, what was this? “Fun,” she finished, flashing her companion a smile. She figured that if things were to get serious, one of them might pipe up. Neither woman seemed terribly shy, and Calypso felt more in control of her own emotions now than she had just over a year ago, when she had started this whole journey.
