Re: Addi and Blaise and Draco
Although she knew that her loved ones would probably be looking for her at the end of the night to make sure she got home safely, Addi didn't want to talk to any of them, didn't want them to see how upset she was, to ask her why and put her in the position to admit what she'd done and just how bad things were still. She would make sure to text them before she went to sleep, reassure them that she'd got home safe.
What she hadn't expected was for Blaise to catch back upw tih her, to stop her with a hand on her elbow. She turned to look at him, cursing her inability to mask her emotions, though his admission did tease a smile from her.
"You needn't have gotten me another gift! The spa package was more than enough," she said graciously, turning to face him more fully. "But since you went to the trouble... where is it?" she added, not quite able to exercise self-control. She did so love getting gifts. She wondered if he had it in a pocket somewhere, but the temptation to feel for herself had her curling her fingers into fits to keep her hands to herself, surprised she was able to manage it.
